I bought 2 and 1 was defective. Kind of sucked bc I set up my whole irrigation and left town, but still had to hire someone to water my plants.It took a lot of troubleshooting, but finally switched out this one piece and everything started working.If your irrigation system starts up and you immediately hear a thunk, followed by a drop in water pressure, try replacing this guy. I also realized that it was leaking the entire time it was attached while the hose was open - the water company contacted me about a suspiciously large amount of water used in 2 days, which stopped as soon as I had the hose bib turned off. This one defective piece caused a whole lot of problems. Meanwhile, the good one works beautifully!!

Arrived on time and threads aligned perfectly with my other FTP fittings. Used in an outdoor drip system, pressure is reduced sufficiently so my quarter inch "barb" connections don't blow out.

These filter/pressure regulator are well designed and quality built. They are operating as designed and have passed all function tests. Would highly recommended.

This is the 4th NDS PRYF I've installed on my properties. What I like most is that they save a lot of space in your irrigation valve box because you don't need both a Y-filter and a pressure regulator. They also save a few dollars from the cost of buying a separate Y-filter and pressure regulator. Additionally, I've never had one of these fail, but I've had several standalone Y-filters fail due to either the filter housing or flush cap breaking.
