These radios came very well packaged. Each radio has a very good weight to it, not too heavy but heavy enough that you know they are well made. We use them in thick bush through rolling hills at our hunt camp. They work very well and we have not run out of range or clarity over long distances. I love that they come in a 6 pack. Super handy for our hunting group. I highly recommend these radios.

I wanted some walkie talkies for occasions when we are out of cell coverage and these are the best I’ve tried. I set one of these up in my basement office surrounded by cement, rock and house. Plus there are lots of electronics that could interfere with signals. I was able to walk around the house and property and still receive a clear signal. The units themselves are pretty solid and easy to use. They are also easy to assemble though I find the clip that holds the batteries in place to be a little loose and I recommend taking the time to put on the belt clips because they do add some stability just in case. If you want to use both the hand strap and the belt clip you should attach the hand strap first. I found it impossible to feed the strap through the hole with the belt clip in the way. The belt clip screws in using the same screws as the hand strap loop. The handsets charge in a base station and unfortunately it doesn't seem to be possible to charge them separately. It would have been nice if there was a way to charge the batteries individually. If you are happy to have the units stored in a central location like an office at the end of each day then it’s not a problem.Using them couldn’t be simpler. There is one power on/off and volume knob and one channel selection knob. It announces the channel number as you turn the knob but you can easily read the knob. There are 16 channels which is plenty for what I need. For a test I had the radios on all day on different frequencies and didn't once hear another signal, nor did anyone else respond to our test broadcasts. My only complaint about these is the battery clip is a little loose and rattles. This doesn't seem to impact the battery itself once it’s inserted properly. It is a little odd since the rest of the unit is so well built. All in all these are good walkie talkies. The range, durability and features suit what I need so I’m happy with them. I imagine most people would be.

Got for family camping trips as we're often out of cell range. This set is very heavy duty and seems like it'll hold up well over time. They do require some assembly but overall are great.

This is a pretty good radio set for fairly large buildings. The radio signal seems to be able to transmit through concrete walls and steel structures with no problems. I manage a property maintenance company and I found these radios maintain communication with my employees around the building pretty well. I found these radios work well even in a 10-story high building with minimal radio loss. So the range is quite impressive. My only complaint is the speaker volume is rather quiet even at full volume. If l'm in the utility room with the machinery running, I have to get my ear close to the speaker in order to hear the broadcast. Battery power is pretty good as I was able to get through the entire day on a charge. I think the battery life can go through another day or so especially if there is minimal radio usage. Overall, this is a good professional radio set that I will continue using on the job site.

The radios are good quality once you go through all this to get the functions you want. If you don't need the side button functions such as an alarm, they are good to use out of the box. Any issue customer service is very good and responsive.
