Great quality, great sound. Haven't had a chance to test out the distance yet but so far I'm very happy with this purchase.

Voyage de pêche et randonnées en forêt. Ils fonctionnent très bien. Sur les lacs nous pouvons communiquer avec les autres chaloupes même si ils sont loin.

Battery Life: While the battery life is decent, it's not exceptional. Depending on usage, they may require frequent recharging, which can be inconvenient during extended trips.Bulkiness: These walkie talkies are a bit on the bulky side, which can be a minor drawback when trying to carry them in pockets or attach them to a belt.In summary, the Retevis RT45P Waterproof 2 Way Radio offers reliable and waterproof communication, making them a valuable addition to outdoor adventures. The long-range capabilities, NOAA weather alerts, and durability make them a solid choice for those who enjoy outdoor activities. While there's room for improvement in battery life and size, these walkie talkies are a dependable option for staying connected in challenging environments.

The user manual is well-written and easy to understand. They are a nice bright orange so easy to spot should you drop it.It comes with rechargeable batteries and a double lead charger so you can charge them both at the same time, however, you can also pop in alkaline AAs should you be out and about and unable to charge them. Each unit takes 3xAA batteries. The belt clips slide onto the back pretty securely. There is a small flashlight on the top of the unit, it might help in a pinch but it isn’t at all bright, and quite disappointed with that feature. The security alarm however is very loud and impressive. When you first turn them on they beep with every button push, but that can be turned off in the menu.It does have a place to plug your headphones into, but it is only a USB-C port which I do not have so can not test it.I am still playing with the rest of the settings as we are really only using it around our property and dog walking for now, it won’t be used for hiking until next year. It has been responsive to about 500 meters. So far the sound is clear and the range is good, and will have to update as I go.
