Perfect nickel shape for tip. Abrasive very sharp, but also very fine. Shapes tip without fraying or ripping it like some others. I get great results by laying cue on table, tip hanging over the edge. Hold the tool perpendicular to the tip and roll the cue back and forth with the other hand. Creates the motion of a lathe. A Stone Age lathe, but it works. LOL

Product is built well. It is light and just the right size to hold in your hand to work the tip of the cue. Great shaper both dime and nickle. Easily manipulates the leather.
