This towel does get quite cold, but it warms up faster than other cooling towels I've used in the past. It also makes your clothes and skin damp.

I didn't get this as much for it's cooling properties as it's absorbency. I run on the treadmill a lot and I can get a little sweaty during my runs. I was looking for a small, absorbent towel that I could use after my run to dry off a bit before changing. For that purpose, this towel is great. It's plenty absorbent and long enough that I can even run it across my back if I want. The secondary use for my gym towels is to cover the screen on the treadmill as I run. I find that if I can see the display I focus too much on how long I have left, what the next interval is going to be, etc. I find this has a negative impact on my run so I wanted something to cover it. For this purpose, this towel is just okay. At first I was throwing it over the top of the display so that half fell over the back and half was down on the screen. Quickly I learned that the towel is too light to be used like this, it falls off easily just from the vibrations, and I was still able to read the display through it just a little. I now double it over and use my watch to anchor it on the display, which works well enough.I've put them through the wash several times and I haven't noticed any issues with colour fade or durability so far. I'll update my review as I get more use out of them, should I encounter anything that warrants it. But if you're in the market for a gym towel, I would certainly suggest you give these a try.

This is a set of four cooling towels that come in four colors, blue, green, pink, and gray. I used them today and they were wonderful. I was working outside, and I kept a wet one around my neck and a dry one stuffed into the pocket of my shorts. The wet one kept my neck cool, and the dry one allowed me to wipe the sweat off my face as I worked.The microfiber towels are great to use any time you are going to sweat or need to cool off. The colors can be used confidently by both men and women. They arrived in a little zippered pouch. Unfortunately, once the towels have been taken out and unfolded, I don't see how they can easily be restored in the zippered bag/pouch because it is so small. It would have been nice to have been able to store them in the bag/pouch after washing and drying them because they would then have their own storage area; however, this is not a dealbreaker by any means; just an option that would have been nice.The towels are pretty long, but not very wide. This is not a con, just a statement of observation.These towels were great for me, and I will continue to use them when I work in the yards and/or when I exercise. I really think that you will find the cooling effect that they offer to be a real benefit during any activity that you work up a sweat.HAPPY SHOPPING!

I use these towels as both "gym towels" to mop up sweat during a run or workout, and also as "cooling towels" when running outdoors. Now that the heat is starting to skyrocket into the 90's, I am definitely keeping these with me on outdoor excursions and runs.+ I love that they are so compact--I could fit like 6-7 of these in the same space as a single regular gym towel. You can easily tuck a towel into your belt/shorts or hide one under your shirt collar.+ Absorbent--whether you mop up your own sweat or douse the towels in clean water, they do the trick on hot and humid days! I will say that if you live in the desert, expect to add fresh water to these to cool off, as they dry pretty quickly through evaporation.+ Versatile: essential travel item for hot climates, whether you're going to the theme parks or nature. Included with the towels is a small card with suggestions on how you can use and wear the towels (head wrap, wrist, neck, etc, as seen in product images.+ Great colors and size+ The towels come with a waterproof zip-top pouch, so whether you're keeping dry towels dry, or wet towels separated from the dry stuff in your bag, the pouch itself it definitely part of the great things in this product

I live in a very hot place. Most summer days over 110 degrees. Do these work? They do retain water after you wet them and stay cool for maybe an hour and then need to be refreshed. It's not air conditioning but they do help. I think the technology just keeps them from drying out so fast but if you are going outside, wet one, put it on and it does help so I can't say it doesn't.
