These whole fennel seeds came packed in a sealed plastic bag and appear to be very fresh. When I opened them I was enveloped in a wonderful fennel scent. I employed some of them immediately to prepare some Chinese five spice, and they worked very well, and the aroma became even more intense after i used my spice grinder to grind them up. Recommended!

I have been using these for many years. It is a great bloat and gas preventive. I use it for my dogs. I have Dobermans and those are prone to a condition called bloating, which is the mother of all emergencies for a dog. Lost 3 dogs to this before I started to use Fennel seeds.I put the seeds in a coffee grinder and make a powder. I add a big pinch of this powder to my dog's food.Since I started using Fennel seeds, none of my dogs got a case of bloating.

There are all manner of write ups / Utube commentary on the benefits of this liquorice tasting seed so I won’t go into here other than say - I like it - great addition to my supplement regime and purchasing in bulk is FAR FAR cheaper than the alternative -
