Your cart is empty.You need the Air Mixer when you using liquid propane or some other combustible gas for outdoor fire or fire pit. The liquid propane can not burn very well without the air, so in this time you need the air mixer to mix the liquid propane and the air to make fire burning well. We have different numerical value of BTU to choose. I think our Stanbroil Air Mixer will help to burn the fire well.

Works well, easy to install. Used it a handful of times. I do see just a little bit of blackening on the sides of the burner tray, but that was when the flames were right against it when the wind kicked up. I may try it without this to see if there is a noticeable difference.

I incorporated this mixer into a home made outdoor fire pit. I installed it directly below the burner, but under the floor of the glass bed. Below that is a foot of 1/2" lron pipe then 8' of 3/8 flex line to the regulator and tank. I mention all this to say, do not do it that way. It burns OK, but I get an impressive high percussion boom when I close the valve at the tank. I will try some things to resolve the issue, but a few more lines of guidance in the instructions would be helpful. (I'm glad it is an outdoor fire pit.)

This worked perfect. My only complaint is it had no flange or washers and nut's to mount it to the grill base. I made a steel flat plate with a hole in the center, then tack welded it to the plate. Then mounted the plate to the base of the pit.Nice quality part.
