This charging panel is working perfectly, I had a battery with 4.75v and after 3 days of partly cloudy now 11.75.I have a 22 jeep cherokee that just sits. The setup couldn't be easier, it's plug and play. The price is fantastic because it includes the regulator for different types of batteries and usb devices. Fits easily in the window behind the shade stuck to window. I am relieved knowing the battery is being maintained.

Very easy setup. Multi mode charging selector allows parring the device to the type of battery you are trying to charge. Due to the relatively inefficient nature of solar panels in general, this size does appear to “trickle charge” or maintain my truck battery.

I’ve tried several different solar battery charging systems and these by far exceed my expectations. In my opinion they are of high quality materials. The build is perfectly designed. They are very slim. The output is exactly as stated. I have 3 12w and 1 30w, all perform as they should. THE only thing that I could think of that would make these better is higher quality battery clamps, just a little on the cheesy side but they work for now, can easily be upgraded.

Not thrilled the charge indicator lights/charge regulator are permanently fixed to the back side of the panel. Permanently bolting it to my trailer I can’t see the lights, and you have to add at least a 2 inch spacer to clear that box. Other than that it works.

GMC Duramax SLT. These newer vehicles with all the electronics running in the background. You can’t leave parked for any length of time without draining your batteries. My trucks are not parked near power. These 20 watt panels are putting out 1amp in direct sunlight. Figure I’m getting 4-7 amps in coarse of a winter day. Depending on overcast etc. from what I have read the average vehicle drain is about 3.4 amps per 24 hour period. So far I am finding that this panel is keeping up. It has an excellent MPPT controller that is easy to set for the type of battery. And discontinuous charging once battery has reached full. This truck will have sat about a month upon my return. I do not foresee any problems. But will throw a meter on the electrical prior to starting. If I find it is not keeping the batteries topped off will update.1/5/2025 well I came back to my batteries voltage being down to 11.7 volts. Figured out not the panels fault. Had set up on inside windshield held up by visor to catch angle of the sun. I didn’t take into consideration was the UV protection from the glass that inhibits the panel from doing its job. (Same reason your self tinting glasses won’t turn dark inside the vehicle even if you set them on the dash). Once I set the panel in front of the windshield made all the difference.
