I love the look of these lights and they put off quite a bit of bright light for the majority of the night time hours. They are easy to install and we got them to replace similar lights that stopped working after about 5 years.The solar panels allow them to charge relatively easily. They have a nice copper-like appearance and goes well with our Craftsman and Mission style type of decor. Would purchase these again down the road if and when I have the need.

These have dark plastic top inside so the light reflects upward from the reflective dome at the bottom but then the light gets absorbed by the dark plastic of the top. Why it is so difficult to make the top reflective inside, too? That would reflect the light downwards as it is supposed to when this light is attached to the top of the post... The solar battery is too small to adequately charge the battery so the light stays on at least for 6 hours. In my case, even fter being charged for tge whole sunny day, the light would turn off after 3 hours. The seemingly metal body id actually cheap plastic covered with bronze foil that will start chipping. If you happen to have a bird landing on the light or a small tree branch falling on this light in a windy day, you can rest assured the bronze will get scratched off, and the whole top can get detached and fall to the groung getting scratches and dinged up. Not recommended.

These hardly lasted a few months... Purchased 20 of these in March for my grandmother, by summer most had burnt out, it's now October and the last just died.
