This is basically indistinguishable from the OEM pan. Except that this one actually has a drain plug (OEM replacements no longer do)! Yay! And it includes the hardware! Double yay!Seriously I feel like a sucker for spending more on the Mopar pan in the past. I use OE parts where possible but this is better and for less money. Good quality and fits perfect.PS, these transmissions absolutely, positively need to be serviced! If you buy into the lifetime fluid you’re going to be buying into a new transmission before 150k. This pan and a case of compatible transmission fluid is much cheaper!

I have a 2016 dodge charger r/t. As for the filter So far so good this Pan comes with an integrated filter, replacement gasket, new bolts and drain plug. The pan itself is made of a tough plastic type material, feels fairly rigid and thick. Upon installation everything seemed to line up properly. A pointer double check that you have the O-ring in place for the filter neck and it’s a good thing to put a little bit of transmission fluid around the O-ring first to help it slide into place. These transmissions do not have a dipstick to check the fluids so after you install the filter or whoever installs the filter, could either jack it up to double check things for assurance or just keep an eye in the driveway for any possible leaks, should be OK but it’s always good to be cautious.

For the price, you get a decent replacement pan. In this case, for the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee 850RE. First order arrived with a pan only, no bolts or gasket. Second order arrived with handful of bolts and a drain plug, but no gasket. I don't even know if I am going to go for a third third to see if I get a gasket. I might just buy a gasket and call it a day. Value is fine, the installation will be fine, but it is definitely not coming as it is supposed to with everything you need to out the fluids and filter. I guess we will see how it goes from here. I might try another return and ship and hope a gasket comes this time.

The Good:Lower Cost: This is the main draw. It's a cheaper alternative to OEM.Includes Gasket and Drain Plug: This is a big plus! Having these included is a time and money saver.Direct Fit: It's a direct fit which simplifies installation, but you MUST verify this carefully! The Not So Good:Compatibility Issues: This is the biggest area for concern! Transmission oil pans are NOT universally interchangeable. The listing has to be checked very carefully to make sure it fits your exact vehicle year, make, model, transmission type, and even engine size. Even then, confirm with a mechanic if possible.Potential for Leaks: Aftermarket pans, especially at a lower price, might be more prone to leaks. Make sure the gasket is seated properly and torque bolts to spec.Material Quality: The quality of the metal and the drain plug threads may not be as high as OEM but seem to be fine for standard use applications.Overall:The GEARCESS transmission oil pan could be a decent budget-friendly alternative. The inclusion of the gasket and drain plug is a bonus. However, it's only worth it if you are absolutely certain it fits your vehicle. The lower price may mean lower quality, so expect to take extra care when installing.Recommendation: MAYBE, with extreme caution and verification. Only recommend if you can 100% CONFIRM IT FITS YOUR EXACT VEHICLE'S YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE SIZE, AND TRANSMISSION TYPE. Then, be meticulous during install to prevent leaks. If you have any doubts, spend a little extra for a more reputable part.

Cost effective alternative to zf transmission pans. This pan helps changing the transmission fluid cost a little less. This pan fits my jeep like it factory part. It looks identical to the pan on my bmw x5 as well. This set includes the new screws like the more expensive kits do as well. Since this cost about 1/3 of the last one purchased I would say this is a good deal as long as I dont have any issues with it going on down the road.
