I prefer smaller hand mics. The original mic that came with my Cobra CB was just too bulky and thick. This Uniden mic is much slimmer, and plugged in perfectly to my Cobra CB. The only thing I don't like is that the PTT button is not very responsive to being depressed. It feels flimsy and there is no click or other indicator as to when it's depressed far enough to start broadcasting. I wish it had a "clicky" mechanism inside to indicate that it has been activated, but that is just a personal preference, otherwise it is a quality unit.
