Used these at work everyday, they went through some pretty rough conditions and a couple wash/dryer runs. Still runs great and really liked how the microphone ran through a separate wire than the headset

First one quit working all together after 3 uses. Second one would randomly key itself and would not turn off…. Do I order again and hope 3rd time is the charm? Worst part is I know these ones actually work with our radios….

Update 8 Nov 2023, 4 months later: round connector for the ear piece just fell apart, ripping one of the wires off. I might repair it.Original review:I need to be able to hear the environment around me. I knew the ear plug style was likely not going to work for me. I tried them and found the sound muffled. Readability 3/5, maybe 4 at best. And it's hard to hear the environment.The molded style was definitely better in terms of sound quality. However I couldn't get them to stay in. You only get one size, medium.I'm told the mic was fine, although requires your mouth to be right next to it.Lastly, I bought a silicone ear mold kit and made a custom ear plug with the clear tube embedded. I also added a second hole to allow outside noise. This works fantastic. Great sound, stays fit all day long, and is super comfortable. I also wear hearing aids, and have slipped the in ear portion in the second hole so I get hearing aids and custom ear piece from the radio in one piece. Bumped the review up a star.I could have done a better job on the the mold.
