Works great with my Ioniq 5, and much cheaper than the official V2L adapter. No issues with removing the adapter when I'm done - just hit unlock on the fob and the adapter can be removed. I saw other adapters could have an issue with removal but this one is fine!

I bought this back in May thinking to use it in-between kids’ games or even at a get together. Finally used it today because of the power outages to due to the fires. WOW! So worth it, we charged our EV9 to 100% to anticipate any power outages. We are currently running our fridge, tv, floor lamp, and portable devices. It is working flawlessly and it’s unbelievable that we can power everything non-stop for at least 8 days and still have 20% battery on the EV9! So worth it! No need to spend over $100 on an OEM. This was well worth the $30.

Nicely made device but unfortunately the Kia Niro EV Wind model does not support V2L devices. Apparently the Wave model does have V2L capability.

Plugged it into my 2024 Ioniq 5 and promptly ran my 1200W heat gun perfectly. Only one big snag. I could not remove the adapter once I was finished. Did a bit of Googling and discovered that doors have to be shut, power off, hit unlock door on remote 2 times quickly......BINGO! That released the handle and solved the problem. Don't know about long term reliability as I just got it but for a small fraction of the price Hyundai wants for their OEM version, it's not much of a gamble. Also, if it fails within the first 30 days you can send it back to Amazon. So far, I'm really happy with it and recommend it!
