I just bought this 3 AMP battery charger and have already added it to my car toolkit—definitely a great decision. It’s the kind of tool that I didn’t know I needed until I got it, but now I’m glad to have it on hand for those unexpected battery issues.

Simple, intuitive charger with good visualization of the process. I had 2A charger and it looks way longer time for my battery to be charged. But this charger did the job faster. Different attachments can accommodate different batteries. I like solid clips, but power cord should be longer.

This charged up the battery pretty quickly. It was really easy to use. It’s a nice size small enough to store in a convenient place.

A good charger for the money. I have a trickle charger on everything I own that is not used daily and have about 8 trickle chargers from 4 different companies. Other than the original battery tenders I would say I like these ones the best.

I remove the charger for storage not to have it at 100 percent charge, but rather put it on every month. It’s charging a small lithium batteryI wish it came in a smaller charge rate, it’s too fast of a charge but works for me.

Got for my truck because it sits for weeks at a time while gone at work. This keeps the battery fully charged and ready for when I get home! Super easy to use and works great.

I'm really happy with this charger, which I use to keep the battery charged in my Toyota Corolla. I only drive the car every few weeks, so the battery had kept running down - now I can keep it fully charged thanks to the trickle charge feature of this item. I especially like the 3 amp capacity (many other such chargers are only rated at 800 millliamps or 1 amp) and the display is bright and easy to read. It also features a display that reveals the degree of charging being undergone by the battery so I can monitor the charged condition of the battery. The unit also has a setting to "repair" a battery but the very brief included printed instructions fail to explain when to use this or how it accomplishes such a "repair". The instructions need to be expanded!

This is a 12v/6v smart charger. It charges up to three amps. It works for Lead-Acid ,lithium and lifepo4 too. Just connect to red positive (+) on battery and then black negative (-) on battery then put charger into wall socket. It’ll turn on and start charging unless something went wrong or you think you have to change Mode then hit MODE button until you like where it’s set. I just plugged it in and it started charging. I charged a Lead-Acid battery. The battery was charge from 12.03V t0 12.5V. It was blinking percentage the whole time it was charging and when it finished it was just solid lit up. So it won’t overcharge your battery. Nice to have a small charger that can work on almost anything as long as the Ah isn’t too high. Anyways comes with the quick connects so you could leave it connected to your battery and just plug it up when needed. Good deal and it works well.

Upon first use, I tried this charger on multiple batteries and all it would do is beep loudly. The manual doesn't explain the beeping sound. I was at a loss, but I had a suspicion the red and black wires were reversed. That turned out to be the case. So this thing does not connect the standard way. Basically, the SAE connector is reversed. I've experienced this in the past with very cheap chargers. Lucky for me I had an adapter that would flip the connection around. Then I was able to use the charger. For anyone else, you'll have to either only use the clamps and test which way it'll work. You may have to put the red clamp on your typically black or negative side of your battery. Or when using the SAE connector, purchase an adapter. Search for something like SAE reverse adapter. Or cut the connector off and wire up your own connector the correct way. But if you're purchasing any adapter or other connector, you're probably not saving money anymore. There are other chargers that are just a few dollars more. With my adapter the charger appears to be working, so that's good. Reading through the reviews, I'm not the only person that experience this exact same problem.

My bike had a maintainer plug on it already so I just plugged this new maintainer into the old cord on the bike and all it did was beep. After some investigation I realized that my old cord from the battery is opposite to the maintainer. What I mean by that is the positive on my old cord is the negative on the maintainer. It would beep indicating that it was installed incorrectly.Usually the negative end on the cord is the male end but in this case the positive is the male, not the best or the safest. I’m going to return for this reason.
