Constant-Temp Fermentation

I've been distilling my own water daily for some time now, and the VEVOR Water Distiller has proven to be a reliable addition to my routine. The 304 stainless steel build feels solid and gives me peace of mind knowing that the water isn't touching cheap plastics during the heating process. The dual temperature display and programmable timer are features I didn’t know I needed but now wouldn’t go without—very convenient when managing multiple tasks throughout the day.The glass carafe is a nice upgrade from plastic containers I’ve seen with other models, and the included carbon bags and citric acid powder are appreciated touches for maintaining both water quality and the machine’s longevity. I followed the instructions (simple) to put it together. Turned it on, changed the default settings to 210F for 3:30... nothing... no drips, nothing. Unplugged it... checked seal, checked the filter thingy et al... let it cool off, made sure it was full to the fill line and tried it again. Ugh... google searched trouble shooting... didn't find much help. Still not dispensing water. Sadly I assumed it would work and was so excited so I recycled the packaging already. So I can't opt to send it back. Just trying it once again after checking all the plugs, the seal, the fill line, the filter... nothing is dispensing and it's been an hour. The settings work, it turns on, the fan is running. It is pretty (I got it in red) but so disappointed it doesn't work. And I don't have the packaging to send it back. What a waste of $$ (and it wasn't cheap) for it to not work at all.

I love this distiller in comparison to the old one we ordered from a different company. There was hardly any difference in price too. This machine distills almost 4 litres of water in 3.5 hours. My old machine that I purchased in 2021. I was removing the lid when I was scalded by the steam, I threw the top from the pain and it no longer worked after that. That's why I tried this brand and I am glad I did. The glass is refreshing as well. Putting the glass pitcher together was a challenge on my own. I lost the little instructions, but them found them again after I figured out how to put the handle together. no biggie, I really like the machine.

This was my second one of these. The first one I got last winter and it just stopped working, seemingly for no apparent reason. I either got a dud or some water got into the wiring somewhere and short circuited it. So needless to say, I was hesistant to buy another, but this is a reliable brand and the size and functionality of this distiller really suited my needs. I have been using it all winter and kept track of how many jugs I've made and I am now up to 155 and it's still in perfect working order so ... yes, I would recommend this product.I use the water to fill my humidifiers in my apartment all winter. It has made a huge difference in terms of air quality and my sinuses not getting agitated, not to mention prolonging the life of my humidifiers because there's very little calcium buildup and deposit.I would also recommend that you buy citric acid and clean it regularly. They say not to use vinegar, but I do and it comes out like it's brand new.

Ik wou het ook gebruiken om macceraten van alcohol te distilleren maar dat viel tegen, mijn oud toestel zonder thermostaat en maar de helft aan vermogen doet het op dat gebied stukken beter, hier verlies ik blijkbaar een deel van de dure alcohol en het loopt ook te snel voor alcohol.Zal dit toestel nu gebruiken enkel voor water en mijn macceraten zal ik met het oude toestel moeten doen.

I absolutely love thus machine. So very easy to use and fits great on my small countertop. So convenient to be able to make my own distilled water and to not have to lug around water bottles and recycle so much plastic! Comes with cleaning solution and extra filters too. Was a very good purchase!

Al leer las reseñas de este producto me mantuve reticente de comprarlo hasta que lo hice y me di cuenta de que es mejor no escuchar a la mayoría que no tiene ni idea de valorar un producto.En mi caso el producto funciona exactamente como se describe, destila un galón de agua en tres horas y media. Después de dos usos el agua deja de tener el sabor de los materiales de los que está hecho, nada que no se pueda soportar y que además se específica en las instrucciones, no beber la primera destilación.Las instrucciones están en inglés.El montaje del asa de la jarra no es lo difícil que dice la mayoría de usuarios que probablemente no han cogido un destornillador en su vida y se permiten criticar al fabricante diciendo que es casi imposible o que necesitas tres manos, cuando yo solo en cinco minutos lo pude montar fácilmente sujetando con una mano y apretando con la otra el tornillo que lleva, incluso la propia asa te permite sujetarlo todo en su sitio y fácilmente atornillar. El asa se siente firme y confiable con la jarra llena.La tengo hace solo unas semanas funcionando a diario de forma eficiente lo único que se escucha es el ventilador y a mí modo de ver es bastante silencioso.Falta por ver la fiabilidad del producto a largo plazo pero Amazon me dio la opción de contratar unas extensión de garantía con seguro de accidentes por tres años lo cual me da confianza al adquirir este producto.De momento estoy encantado con el funcionamiento y la calidad del agua que produce y en algún momento tendré que limpiar los residuos que quedan en el fondo pero la calidad del agua que destilo es de por si bastante buena así que aún no lo he hecho ya que no he acumulado mucho en estas semanas, además con la configuracion de fábrica de tres horas y media si lo llenas se queda algo de agua en el fondo lo cual hace que se acumule menos residuos minerales.El fabricante aconseja limpiar una vez al mes.Viene con un detergente de ácido cítrico pero supongo que se puede usar también vinagre para limpiarlo.Un aparato perfecto para producir agua pura de gran calidad.Muy contento con mi compra.

Het werkt echt heel goed,Ik had al drie jaar lang ervaring met met zo’n zelfde machine, maar deze is beter. Wat ook heel nuttig is dat hier een tijdklok op zit zodat het niet helemaal droogkookt - ik zet die op 3uur en 15minuten en de temperatuur voor water op 101 °C.Ik ben er heel erg happy mee - het is geen geld - het is een koopje.Met vriendelijke groet,Wim.

This is a nice unit it works well and distills about 3 litres in about 3 hours using its default timer.
