I have owned a NOCO GB70 for a few years, and I have found it to be an excellent automotive tool! These days, you don't want to jump start cars with unknown history - some kind of spark or electrical feedback can cause a lot of damage to your car! These "battery boosters" are the way to help. You need to charger up the NOCO battery boost, and no better way that in your car as you drive. This cable by VHBW is a great way to go! It is made of quality materials through out. For example, the wire is coded - it is not some bargain basement stuff. It is 20AWG and capable of handling up to 300volts.Looking at the cigarette adaptor, it is somewhat compact. A good strain relief meets the cable going into the adapter. The adaptor has two, angled and deeply etched finger and thumb spots, that make removing the adaptor much easier to do. The front of the adaptor is all metal. It appears to be solid, and it is certainly tight-fitting into the cigarette lighter. A bright green LED light lets you know the connection is established. If you find the green light too bright, just rotate the adaptor to point the LED down. Problem solved. The five foot cord terminates in the same input connector that NOCO uses for charging. The fit of the cable end into the NOCO is tight and firm. It will not vibrate out, not fall out over a bump.Bottom Line - Even if you have a similar NOCO Battery Back Booster kit with all the cables, you should have at least two different ways to power the battery. Without a charge, the NOCO is a useless piece of plastic! Get a backup cable!
