This is labeled as a "12V battery charger" and happens to come with a lighter plug (for going to many "jump starter" packs). When I think of a 12V battery getting charged, I expect it to be raised to ~14V or slightly higher like 14.5V. With this plugged into AC power I see 13.8V on the lighter plug, yet going to a pack it only raised it to 13.3V after a couple hours. The packs built-in charger raises it to 14.5V, then goes to a "float charge" at 13.5V that I see as the ideal model (and it does that in under a minute to show the battery isn't bad), but this doesn't even go to 13.5V. If it at least did 13.7V I'd say it's OK, but below 13.5 is a bit low for what I expected.
