Wie beschrieben ein Ladegerät für die 2 Batterie für Wohnmobil Aufbau kam schnell und Unkompliziert in der Schweiz an wie erwartet sind die Produkte von Victron Gute Qualität das gute ist auch man kann via App alles schön Einstellen Eingangs und Ausgang Spannung sowie welche Batterie Typ. Habe noch eine Lüfter zusätzlich unten Montiert zu abhilfe der Abkühlung.Gerne wieder.

This device has been working great as my B2B charger in my van conversion. The Bluetooth communication works well and the device has been working reliably for the past 6 month. I find all of my Victron products to be bulletproof. Would recommend!

I like that this product has a bluetooth capability and that helped me alot setting it up. It is working great and charging my Bluetti. I also like the option of being able to shut it off when I shut off the engine too.

My Orion TR Smart Isolated is installed in my van conversion according to installation requirements and with over-spec cabling. I noticed the other day that the Orion had become very hot after a short trip which led me to investigate online. There was a strong baked electronics smell. According to customer reports it is not uncommon for the Orion to hit 70 degrees Celsius during operation, which has led to people building active cooling solutions with 3D printed ducts and 12 volt blower fans. In my opinion, this Orion charger is not safe for use without an appropriate active cooling solution. Even if the Orion can survive constant use at this temperature, the heat may damage other components around it, and these Victron setups are often installed close together in tight spaces. Victron is an excellent brand and I am disappointed that they would be so reckless with this product. The manual says it runs hot but that is an understatement. Also this Orion charger does not communicate with Cerbo GX even though it has bluetooth.

I will start by saying that this review is of the product and not the vendor. The item arrived on time in factory sealed packaging. My biggest complaints are that despite having the "Smart" label this unit does not communicate with other "Smart" devices on the Bluetooth network. In my setup I am using this in conjunction with two Smart Solar charge controllers and a Smart Battery Monitor that all work together to charge the lithium house battery in my RV. This should be able to get charge rate information from the Solar Charge Controllers and decide if it should start charging the battery based on parameters you set. You can't even use the Victron app to manually stop it from charging, for example when you are towing your RV on a super sunny day and the solar charge controllers are able to adequately charge the battery. I realize that you can hook up a remote on/off switch but still, you should be able to control this with the app. You may be able to set high "start charging" voltages that are beyond what your vehicle alternator can put out to make sure it doesn't start charging but a lot of extra work for something that should be simple. It also doesn't show the input and output AMPs, which is important if you want to monitor the impact it is having on your vehicles charge system, or limit this due to cabling distances or vehicle factory wire gauge limitations. This should let you adjust max values for input/output charge current. Far too expensive for what it actually does. Compared to the other Victron products I own the functionality is a fail in this one. I gave 2 stars because the build quality is good. I hope Victron adds the above missing functionality in future releases of the firmware, as it shouldn't be too hard, at least for the software controlled on/off and to communicate with the Solar Charge Controllers to know when it should start charging. Hopefully they are listening.
