They are manufactured to reduce burring after cutting, as well as being resistant to catching by using a rubber moulding press which creates a minute wave along the surface of the disc, reducing the overall total surface tension while cutting.

I’m actually surprisingly impressed with these cutting wheels. Their service life is excellent and the cuts are smooth and completed with ease. They claim these wheels leave a burr free cut which is just nonsense as no cutting wheel can cut through metal without leaving some burrs on the edge. I don’t knock the product for this because like I said, that claim is impossible for any cutting wheel to achieve - it’s just the nature of working with metal - you always have to clean up the burrs.These disks don’t get excessively hot which is really nice. I don’t notice any warping, cracking or odd vibrations when using them. Overall I am quite pleased with the product. They perform well and I have no complaints.

These are very good-quality grinding disks and work perfectly! They're also fast to identify as being green in colour. I also find this brand to last a little longer than your average cheap brown disks you can pick up anywhere.

These work great for cutting metal, I used these to cut flat steel without issue and they cut quick with little heat build up.Overall I cannot say on durability because I don't use them daily, however, due to the quick cutting speed, I would say they should last to get the job done.

Nicely made durable disc. Very thin yet insanely strong. Very good value.I tested discs for cutting various materials but few cuts really amazed me.This will be great for contractors out in the field when it's needed to cut everything.I loved how it cuts the thin steel that drywall corners are made of. Easy and nice clean cut as you can see in the pic.I also cut PVC hose ( test of disc aggression and cutting not melting PVC) and my favorite test on copper tubing.Nice clean cuts and no chewing of material as you can see in the pic where I cut the faucet which is chrome plated. Overall this blade can cut through a variety of material with ease.I also use this blade to sharpen Drill bit on the disc's side. It is aggressive but fine and can sharpen ⅛” drill bits ok. That indicates that the side is probably 100-120 grit equivalent with grinder speed.NOTE:Measures for arbor are in millimeters make sure you order a proper disc for your tool.I am using mostly a grinder and tool of choice . Discs with smaller arbore will fit other tools with smaller motors and speed than a grinder.North American grinder use Standard (5/8-11) or Metric (M14).

I took these out to the shop and gave them a good run through everything I had on the go. Flat bar, Square tube, and trailers fenders all cut easy and smooth. These disks are thin which makes them cut fast and easy.I didn't get a chance to snap any pictures, but these are decent value. These beat out the local sale prices in town, but are smaller at 4 inches rather than the standard 4.5. They gain back the points in cutting due to being thing and cutting faster.

I used these on some aluminum angle and they made fast burr free cuts. The wheel doesn't get consumed too quickly (but I am comparing it to wheels I used for steel, so take that into consideration). They are quite thin compared to what I am used to, so that may be a bit of an explanation why they are so fast. Very pleased. I recommend these for soft materials only, as I haven't tried them on steel (which is not recommended in any case, but, I am one of those guys...)

I was surprised how fast and clean this cutting disc is, and with no more wear than any other discs. Also the accuracy when cutting seems better than what I'm used to. The discs are very well made and no out of balance vibrations as tested at a variety of RPM using a high speed pneumatic angle grinder. I cut a wide variety of materials using an electric corded angle grinder with no problems. This 25 pack will last a long time. No complaints so it's 5 stars for Whitby Abrasives.

J'achète habituellement mes disques chez un détaillant connu de matériel de rénovation.Honnêtement, je n'ai jamais eu de défaillance avec ce genre de disques, ni de bris. Je n'ai jamais évalué la vitesse d'usure non plus: quand ils sont usés (ils diminuent de taille), je les remplace.C'est la première fois que je commande des disques via Amazon et je ne suis pas déçu.J'ai utilisé ces disques pour découper :1) des tubes en PVC (plomberie)2) une ouverture dans un "air-duct" de mon unité géothermique (pour y placer une unité d'humidification)3) quelques boulons coincés dans mon abri tempo (les québécois comprendront)4) une plaque en métal "diamond" qui était trop grande par rapport à l'ouvertureTous mes résultats ont été tels qu'espérés: pas eu de bris (pensez toujours à porter des lunettes de protection !), ni de casse. Les découpes sont nettes et je n'ai pas constaté une usure précoce des disques.Je peux donc recommander ce produit, il fait le travail !
