Does the job that it's designed to do! This makes moving smaller logs, timber and firewood logs much easier to move around for loading, stacking & cutting.

Only have a couple of hours of use of this hookaroon so far. Used it while splitting about half a cord of wood. It made a huge difference on my back and how long I was able to split. It's a bit clumsy with larger rounds (weighing > 30 to 40lbs). For those, I typically have to steady and support the round with my off hand. For smaller pieces, it works perfectly. So much less bending!Mine arrived perfectly sharp for the task. I found the handle ergonomic. A couple of times, where I swung less than accurately, I got some vibration back to my hand. But that's user error, not a tool issue.I've wrapped the area under the head with some nylon cord (1/8" cord I think) to help reduce the chance of damage from an overstrike.I'll update with a longer term review as I continue to use it.
