General Alarm Mode
- Press general alarm button once to power on and enter the corresponding mode. It alarms when doors/windows are open; Stops when they are closed.
Constant Alarm Mode
- Press constant alarm button once to power on and enter the corresponding mode. It alarms at least 30 seconds when triggered.
Closing-door Alert Mode/Time Delay Mode
- Press closing-door alert button once to power on and enter the corresponding mode.
- It sounds "di-di-di" when doors/windows opened 5 seconds later (Can set the delay time 2/5/10/20 seconds, the factory default is 5s).
- Stops when they are closed. It wouldn’t beep when the door/window was immediately opened.
Doorbell Mode
- Press doorbell button once to power on and enter the corresponding mode. It sounds "Dingdong" when doors/windows are open.

After my large, older freezer thawed out a few weeks ago, I got to thinking it would be nice to have an alarm on it like the newer refrigerator and freezer have. I found this one, and it actually saved my frozen foods on the very first day!! I thought the alarm was defective, when it started beeping. When I went to check it, the door hadn't closed all the way. There was about a 1/2" gap that I couldn't see. So, this gadget paid for itself from the get-go!! I have it set to sound after the door is open for 30 seconds, but you have several options from which to choose. It can also be used on windows and doors, to alert you upon opening, just like the components on a high-end security system. Affordable. Super easy to install. Highly recommend!

The product was simple to use with variety of features. The product manual was detailed enough to do configuration as required. Sound was pretty loud, which is what we required when our kids leave the fridge door opened..not any more though :)

My partner has a habit of leaving the fridge open while wandering around the kitchen doing different tasks. This reminds him (and me, more rarely) to close it. Perfect noise level for us, wish it gave us 10 more seconds before it started to beep but it's workable. Made the mistake of pressing the top button when I was setting it up and traumatized all the pets in the house. Took them about a week not to duck for cover when the thing started beeping. That alarm is LOUD. If you're looking to this gizmo for security rather than energy efficiency, it's a good choice.

Works well and is very easy to install. I installed it on my freezer door to alert if it's left open. You can program the alarm to sound if it detects the door is open for 3s, 15s, 30s and 60s. My only suggestion is that they allow you to change the volume of various alarms as they are all pre-programmed.

Have a freezer that was not reliable. Fixed it but didn't trust it. Got this to help make sure the door was closed. Works perfectly - chimes after an initial pause and then gets louder as time passes.

This thing is deafening!! Only 3 stars because I ordered it to act as a freezer door alarm which other reviewers commented on using it for. I did not realize how loud the 180 decibels would be and just figured if it works for other freezer it will work for me. More like it will work for freezers in a basement or garage. Not an apartment lol. Would be a better burglar alarm. Also for the amount of noise it makes it would be nice if you could have more than a minute before it starts going off. What if you’re loading the freezer?!

I wanted a door alarm for the freezer so that it doesn't get left open. This one fails on thatTriggering the general alarm is very easy which is when you wake up your family, your neighbours and the national guard. It's hilariously loud for a fridge alarm. The scramble to shut it off if somehow an object touches /bumps the wrong button and changes the mode away from fridge alarm selected is a golden moment. Then tinnitus after.Oh BTW. Not a bad door alarm if you like annoying your whole building.

We bought this for a second fridge that has trouble staying closed. It works as described and was easy to install. The only drawback is that the chime starts a little too quickly when you’re restocking the fridge (another 30 seconds or so would be nice) but this isn’t really a flaw, just an imperfect fit for our use. I’m very pleased.

After inadvertently leaving our upright freezer open TWICE!!, it was time for this little baby. Works like a charm!If I'm reorganizing the freezer, the alarm gets louder and louder - there is no chance of not hearing it. I have much more piece of mind with this on my freezer.

I use this for our mini fridge in the basement because the kids kept leaving it open. I must say I'm quite pleased because it's easy to setup and the alarm for an open door works exactly how I envisioned it. After 20 seconds of the door being open the alarm starts off fairly quiet and slowly gets louder the longer it takes for someone to close the door. It's saved a chicken and a ham already so it's payed for itself.

Very straightforward to install and get started. Simply peel and stick it at the location where you need this and thats it. Needed something like this for the backyard door. Works very well. It has multiple set up modes which you can set it up according to our choice. The sound is pretty loud. You can also leave it off and on according to your choice.

I bought two of these for my fridge and freezer. I was tired of finding the doors not fully shut and having moisture build up in my fridge and the freezer thawing out and then freezing all of the water that resulted from the door being left slightly open. Currently my ice maker and freezer light switch are not functioning from the last time it was left open. One week prior to that, I had to throw out most of the items in my freezer because it was too full and didn't get closed properly.I put one on my French Door fridge and another on the bottom freezer door and they work great. I have it set on the time delay and it starts beeping after 5 seconds reminding them to close the door. It continues beeping with more urgency the longer the doors stay open. No longer does my wife or kids stand there mindlessly with the doors open as they ponder the meaning of life while trying to decide on what they want from the fridge. Nor do they leave the doors open anymore while pouring a glass of milk or water.I played around with the gap prior to sticking it to my fridge to make sure it would go off if the doors were not shut properly. The gap between the remote and the sensor is about the thickness of my pinkie and it works perfectly every time. The alarm is loud enough to hear from the other room but the alarm goes off quickly so it would be impossible to leave the room before it started beeping if a door didn't shut completely.I wish this had an app to alert me if the alarm was going off for over a certain amount of time in case one of my kids decided to ignore the beeping instead of closing the door completely. That hasn't happened yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.Overall I'm very happy with this product and would definitely buy this again! If you're looking for a fridge or freezer door alarm then buy this item.
