The kit contains a nice set of 11 mandrels and some sample nuts for each size. The installation of a mandrel to the adapter is easy and the tool works great with a driver/drill to save man-power. After using the tool to install some nuts on the metal frame of my chair, I found the most important thing to use this tool was to set the right torque for each size of nut. If we set the torque too low, then the nut cannot be tightening. On the other hand, if we set the torque too hight, then the head of the mandrel rod may be damaged or broken. To avoid this problem, I usually select a low gear of my power tool. There is a place for M10 mandrel on the case of the package. I wish the package should include M10 mandrel to have a complete set of mandrels. Therefore, I give it 4 stars due to missing M10 mandrel even it works great.

Putting rivnuts into a van conversion and around the 40th rivnut I was thinking what an amazing tool this was. Then it started slipping and not managing to secure the rivnuts occasionally.I discovered that the metal on the tip of the mandrel was wearing off.Turning up the torque let the drill get in closer for a little while but then the whole mandrel broke, kind of like frozen liquorice. It only made it through 46 uses. I know there are extra sizes of mandrels but I don’t want different sizes of bolts in my walls and I already bought a bunch of this size.

Tool works o.k. but after setting about 6-7 aluminum 1/4-20 nuts I decided to try the included steel nuts and the tool mandrell stripped as shown in the pics.I can only recommend that you try it before the return window closes so you can check the durability for your purposes.

I was quite impressed with this little attachment. I have a manual rivnut tool which works fine but can be difficult to set up. This tool was easy to use and included all the common sizes. I found this to be much faster and more reliable than my manual tool, and it seemed to provide a tighter fit with no slop in the nuts after installing. The kit includes a good selection of nuts to get you started, I do recommend practicing on some scrap metal before i stalling in your project as this does take some practice to get right.Overall this is a very complete kit and is well made. The tool feels solid and performs exactly as it should.

It come with Metric and imperial set of rivet nuts. They are of different material, but I don't know what they are. I ordered more now.My first attempt to use it failed. I think I use the drill and made it turn too quickly. The rivet thread all stripped out.The second attempt work ok, but I need to do more check (it was done in a location that I couldn't inspect, so I don't know how solid of a connection it made.I feel a rivet nut with the pull only system might be better than this. As this depend on the strength of the thread to pull it in... So I don't know if screwing to create pressure is worst or not than just static pulling on the thread. I think it worst, but that is just a feeling.

I have used industrial pneumatic and manual tools for setting rivet nuts , and this is a very simplified and basic adapter to do the same thing as the other tools. Same price point as some better quality manual ones but cheaper than pneumatic, and if youa re doing this sort of work you more than likely have a drill handy.Plus side is that it is not a permanent attachement, by screws or clamps, that you attach to your drill. Just the adapter bit. Pretty simple.Good weight to it, feels good and solid. All the threaded parts fit where they are supposed to, so nothing damaged or off o those parts.Pretty nice starter assortment of nuts to start out with, and a good selection online to restock as well. All the parts are well labeled and the instructions are pretty clear, though I will be gettign a separate case to hold the nuts in the future as the case is a bit tight to fit everything in pluss the samples of all the nuts.Very happy and plan on using this for many projects in the future
