Got unit at a good price. Used it so far to charge two lithium 100ah batteries and it does what it's supposed to. Only thing I noticed was after a couple hours of use it gets fairly hot, a lot hotter than I think it should. Maybe that's normal or not, I have a few regular battery chargers and they don't get as hot as this unit. Not sure how long it will last if it gets that hot. Will most likely get a different one as don't have a good feeling using this one.......

bought this for my lithium batteries have 48 volts in boat and 36 are for my trolling motor and the other is for my lights, live wells and graphs. that is why i need the single 12 charger. I have been working with lithium batteries now for over 6 months have worked with two different manufacturers. Found out that if you are grouping batteries like 36volt or 48 volt you have to balance them. and you need to use a step down transformer for all the 12 volt stuff so it draws off all the batteries not just one in the middle or on the end. doing that i have had no drop out problems i keep one to carry incase there is a drop out it has two leeds and you just touch neg to neg and pos to pos and it will wake up.

This small Roypow LifePo4 battery charger has indeed worked in the past two charge a new 12V Renogy 50A LifePo4 battery. However, after accidentally over-discharging that battery with my trolling motor during an extended boat ride last summer, the battery was left to sit for some time. It reached 6V and, at this voltage, this charger is unable to do anything with the battery unfortunately. Even left plugged for over 24 hours the battery voltage does not change. Now I need to find a higher end battery charger than can actually repair LifePo4 batteries.

Very light compared to the 25lb original battery for my cart application. At less than 5 lbs, the battery last all 18 holes with lots to spare. (Have not tried to push it past 18… I just recharge after each round quickly). Fit perfect in the cart as the measurements were bang-on.I will review again this time next year to report on how it is keeping it’s performance.

updating this after some real world use in extended power outages.i like having the alligator clips or the eyelets. the eyelets not fitting 3/8 is just irritating. they can fit 3/8 and still work with m5 terminal if anyone knows how to use a washer, so eyelets are only good for tiny batteries. i snipped 1/3 of the eyelet out and used a washer to mount the eyelet to 3/8 terminal post and they are reliably snug.the alligator clips are pretty decent, which is nice. basically i have two batteries and one i charge with the eyelets, the other with the alligator clips.due to extended power outages in my town, my 100ah lifepo4's ran down about to about 30% charge. i jumped in the car, threw one battery in the back seat because that's just something you can safely do with lifepo4, hooked up this charger to an inverter in the car and drove. grocery shopping involves 6hr drive plus around town time so when i got home one battery was full, the other nearly 50%. that's a pretty solid 10a output in my books.the next day the power came back on, plugged this into the house power, charged one battery at a time and despite not being able to read the led's, this thing only got warm, not hot and it charged everything quite nicely. no sparks, no fluctuations, no overcharging.i really have a lot more confidence in this charger now, time will tell how long it lasts.comes with alligator clamps and eyelets, both 12" long.body of charger has 12" lead to connect either clamps or eyeletspower cable is 33"alligator clamps seem decent quality, sturdy teetheyelets do not fit 3/8 terminal, they do fit m5 terminalleds are VERY bright, very small and the writing above the leds is VERY small. there are four i can make out.when the led's are lit they block reading the labels, so you dont know what led's are actually lit without getting creative like taking a picture of the labels, plugging in the charger, zooming into the photo and estimating which led's are lit. its a bit confusing because the error and charge light are side by each so it's really sort of like, is that the good red light or the bad red light?there's nothing selectable, the charger starts on its own, no humming or whining sounds, didnt get more than warm to the touch.i dont know if the corners cut were so they could deliver a quality product at a cheap price, or if all the corners were cut and this thing is going to die the 7th time i use it. That said the very expensive noco lit my battery up to 19v and thank goodness i was checking it regularly, it may have destroyed a thousand dollar battery.i have to say that the annoyances are not too bad given the performance of the charger, its as reliable with lifepo4 as my noco's are with sla. although my noco and lifepo4 are compatible on paper, i never want to try noco on my lifepo4 again, as long as this charger keeps going strong the noco can stay on the sla battery where i've had nothing but good results for a decade.step up roypower, make the led's bigger, spread them out or make the labels bigger... or dont even change the pcb just have it like the battery tender, different flashing patterns, easy. do that and double the cable lengths i'd pay 5 bucks more and add a star :)

This charger is simple to use and does a good job charging my lifepo4 battery to full capacity. Is is very compact, one of the smallest I've seen, check my images comparing the size to my car keys. The alligator clips have no teeth and the plastic that covers them feels cheap, tiny led status lights are almost impossible to see and the status or function of the leds is not explained clearly in the owners manual. Gets the job done but needs some improvementUpdate: Ended up returning this charger, because it wouldn't fully charge my 14v 50ah battery. Had it on the charger for close to 30 hours and me battery tester showed 50 percent charge, returned it and waiting for another Lifepo4 charger which I hope will work.
