  • 【Components】The package contains a pair of MAX4466 electret microphone modules, each with dimensions of 20.8 x 13.8 x 7.5 millimeters
  • 【Micropower Design】The MAX4466 is a low-power operational amplifier specifically tailored for microphone preamplification. It offers consistent gain performance and achieves a 200kHz gain bandwidth with a mere 24μA supply current. Post-amplification, it ensures a stable minimum gain of +5V/V and delivers a gain bandwidth product of 600kHz
  • 【Audio Performance】These microphone modules boast a rail-to-rail output, high AVOL, and superior power supply rejection, and common-mode rejection ratios, making them ideal for use in environments with a high level of noise. They are extensively utilized in applications such as mobile phones, digital repeaters, earphones, hearing aids, microphone preamps, portable computing devices, and voice recognition systems
  • 【Versatile Applications】The MAX4466 is particularly well-suited for projects involving voice modulation, audio recording, and audio processing that incorporates Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis. A small trimmer potentiometer is integrated on the back for fine-tuning the gain
  • 【Technical Specifications】The module operates on a power voltage range from +2.4V to +5.5V, compatible with direct connection to development boards. It features a power supply rejection ratio of 112dB, a common mode rejection ratio of 126dB, and an AVOL of 125dB (with a load resistance of 100kΩ). It consumes a static supply current of less than 24μA and provides a gain bandwidth of 600kHz

Introduction
The MAX4466 are micropower operational amplifiers optimized for use as microphone preamplifiers. They offer an ideal combination of optimized gain-bandwidth product and supply current, as well as low-voltage operation in an ultra-small package. The MAX4466 is gain-stable and provides a 200kHz gain-bandwidth with only 24μA of supply current. After decompression, a minimum stable gain of +5V/V is achieved and a 600kHz gain-bandwidth product is provided. In addition, these amplifiers feature rail-to-rail output, high AVOL, and excellent power supply rejection and common-mode rejection ratio for operation in noisy environments. They are widely used in cellular phones, digital repeaters, headphones, hearing aids, microphone preamplifiers, portable computers, and speech recognition systems.
