If their not on a fixed surface that doesn’t move don’t bother and they are thick where the belt clip for your tape measure goes, intends to stretch it out

You can mount these anywhere you can put a screw and have a tape measure handy when you need it

Applied to of these to my ladder and haven’t been happier! Mounting hardware sold separately.

The Buckle Caddies aren't as deep as I'd thought.... But they do hold Adult Sunglasses Well . My son was thrilled to see his glasses all organized on the wall and not on the shelf ready to fall behind the freezer... again!! LOL

Impressed with the quality and size of these clips. They are a bit wider and stick out slightly more than the other brand I've tried. which makes it easier to get "clip" style items (like tape measures) in and also allow for storing slightly bigger items. Nice workbench upgrade!

(This is NOT the plastic Holders fault)Looking at the metal clips on my tape measures, I see that most of them were NOT groomed after they were stamped out from sheet metal and then were bent into shape. They have sharp edges on the bottom sides where they were stamped from the sheet metal. Why were those sharp edges never taken off?That leaves me wondering what my tape measures are doing to my soft more vulnerable pants pockets where I clip a tape measure onto it. I may have to take some clips off and take a file to the edges to take the “sharp edges” off.----------------------------Dislikes:Kinda thick, but then again, it makes these VERY hard to break!In my horizontal mounting above, this was actually a plus point. (and the gap between the inside of the mounting clip and the wall is almost half an inch.)----------------------------These may not fit all use scenarios, but “one size seldom fits all”. For my uses, these were perfect.

The plastic is really good and works great on tape measures.
