The Casil CA1240 is a 12V, 4Ah SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) Alarm Battery commonly found in residential alarm systems. Alarm panels like the Ademco Vista series rely on Casil CA1240 12v 4ah batteries for backup power in the event of a power outage. The Casil CA1240 is a maintenance free SLA Battery that is an ideal replacement for any other 12 Volt 4 Ah hour battery with F1 terminal connectors.

I needed to replace batteries for our security alarm. I was quoted $35 per battery plus trip charge of $35 to have the security provider install them. Ordered these batteries for the cost of one their batteries, took less than 5 minutes to install. 👍

Product is fine, delivery was prompt the only thing was they did not send the one I actually ordered the one I received was another brand and was a 5ah.Other than that it works for what it was designed for.
