If you are looking for a mechanical keyboard that has a sleek design, customizable switches and RGB lighting, you might want to check out the Glorious GMMK Pro. I bought two of them, and here is my honest opinion.Features: The GMMK Pro has a lot of features that make it stand out from other keyboards. It has a hot-swappable PCB, which means you can easily change the switches without soldering. It also has a rotary knob that can be used to control volume, brightness or other functions. The keyboard has a full aluminum body and a gasket-mounted plate that gives it a solid feel and sound. The RGB lighting is also very impressive, with 16.8 million colors and various effects to choose from.Quality: The quality of the GMMK Pro is very high. The keyboard feels sturdy and well-built, and the keycaps are made of PBT plastic that is durable and resistant to shine. The stabilizers are pre-lubed and smooth, and the switches are easy to install and remove. The only issue I had was with the first keyboard I bought, which had a faulty spacebar stabilizer that was sticking. I returned it and got a replacement, which works perfectly.Performance: The performance of the GMMK Pro is excellent. The keyboard is responsive and comfortable to type on, and the switches are satisfying and crisp. I chose the Glorious Panda switches, which are tactile and have a nice bump. The keyboard also has full N-key rollover and anti-ghosting, which means it can register any number of key presses at once. The keyboard also has a detachable USB-C cable that is braided and durable.Value: The value of the GMMK Pro is great. The keyboard costs $229.99, which is reasonable for a premium mechanical keyboard. It also comes with a switch puller, a keycap puller, and a Glorious sticker. You can also buy different switches and keycaps from Glorious or other vendors to customize your keyboard further.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase of the GMMK Pro. It is a beautiful and functional keyboard that offers a lot of features and options for customization. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a high-quality mechanical keyboard.

I purchased 2 barebones and 1 prebuilt. Out of the box solid 3 stars for barebones and 5 for prebuilt, great keyboard, but barebones has poor stabilizers - both barebone kits have issues with sticking and wobbling stabs - resolved by replacing with GSV2 and Durock V2 stabs. Replacing backplate with polycarbonate along with additional gasket strips add a little bit of flex, but most importantly improve sound profile of this keyboard.Glorious Gaming support reached out and addressed my concerns with stabs (by providing gsv2 stabs) and sent me polycarbonate plate (thank you so much!). I like this keyboard and support was not only helpful with addressing the issues, but also helped me troubleshooting the problems almost immediately upon request when I was building the keyboard. After replacing plate with polycarbonate it feels better than with included aluminum plate. I really wish polycarbonate plate and GSV2 stabs were included with all the barebones I purchased - would be the 5 star keyboard it deserves to be after mods. Put on good switches, mt3 keycaps on that bad boy and thocc away! Customer support been glorious so far. I will have to consider replacing aluminum plates on my other 2 gmmk pros too as polycardonate is more to my liking.

I got the case of this keyboard and it is very nice, even thought it is a bit expensive it is hot swapable, has good software and is quite sturdy and nice to type with. Overall I think it was worth it and is so nice to game on

For Gaming:Keyboard is high latency ~10ms vs 1ms for pure gaming keyboardsKey Switches wobble in the socketsKey Stabilizers came overly lubricated and would stickFor Typing:better off getting a K2Pro and saving 100$Software is awful.Material Quality ExcellentSticking stabilizers was a known issue in 2021 and described are a QC issue that was claimed to be rectified. fast forward to 2023 and clearly its not been rectifiedI contacted Glorious about this issue and they sent me a guide for taking apart the keyboard and fixing their mistake and then telling me if I dont like it, return the product. I dont deem this acceptable when paying for such a premium product. this should have been corrected at the factory and affected users compensated in some way. absolutely dont waste your money on this keyboard. its very pretty and looks solid but when you drill down into the actual performance, it makes no sense.for a gamer who wants a decent typist keyboard, buy a small Corsair (or gamery brand) keyboard and a separate typing keyboard.I found Success with a NXZT Function keyboard for 59.99CAD and I am very happy with this after replace keycaps and lubricating the stabilizers

The keyboard is really solid and heavy, and feels good to type on. but my issue is with the way the keyboard operates.First off the stabilizers were over lubed causing keys to stick, which wasn't a huge deal it was easy enough to fix.Second issue is that the keyboard randomly switches modes and makes it so i have to hold the FN key to type anything. Factory resetting the board and also resetting to default in the Glorious Core software only seems to make it work for a bit, then it goes back into that mode by itself eventually.Lastly (more of a nitpick) but one of the LED bars on the side of the keyboard is sunken in quite noticeably while the other side is perfectly flush with the board.

I like the knob and the software is easy to use, stabilizers were all great but the spacebar, spacebar was overlubed slightly, with use it became much better, other than that its great, there are better budget options thats for sure, if you are starting it is a very easy board to use and set up, but with some digging you could find something for half the price

It's pretty nice overall, feels nice and sturdy with its aluminum case. Factory lube on stabilizers are horrible and will most likely need to be relubed (I saw multiple reviews and videos with similar problems). I had heard that they fixed this issue over the last couple years but apparently not. They are pretty good once you fix the lubing though I still have the tiniest bit of rattle on the left side of my spacebar even with the holee mod.Lighting is okay. You'll probably want the poly carb plate if you want better lighting (and also clear switches. I use milky yellows and they lower the lighting quite a bit). The screws are a bit tight and you'll want a screwdriver that you can grip well. I used an electronic screwdriver and ended up stripping the screws (something like a Wowstick should be fine though), was a pain to get them out.The gaskets don't really work well as gaskets although they add extra in the box in case you want to add layers onto them to give the board a bit more flexibility. This is my first board so I don't really know what it would feel like either way. Feels all good to me.Finally the knob is quite nice in terms of turning it for the volume. However, when clicking it to mute/unmute, the "click" itself doesn't actuate it and instead I need to press down a bit more afterwards and that makes it quite unsatisfying to use. I've gotten a bit more used to it now but I still find myself pressing it and not having it register every now and then. Also comes with PE foam if you want to do the PE foam mod (pretty quick and easy if you're opening the case for stabs anyway).I went with this over the Keychron 75% keyboards as I prefer the layout of the GMMK Pro. Overall I am happy with my purchase.Edit: This edit comes in a year after my first review. I've had less time to spend on my PC and so I use the keyboard much less than usual. I've noticed that after leaving the keyboard for a day or so and coming back to it that it double presses very often. This is definitely an issue with the PCB as swapping out the switches for an alternative doesn't alleviate the issue.I've been building my QK75 for like 6 months now cause I'm too lazy to lube my new switches it but if I ever do then I'll update with a comparison. Get keen, random user on the internet.

Really beautiful keyboard. Was looking for a 75% layout and was debating between this and the keychron q1. I really liked the knob on the GMMK and ended up choosing it. No regrets and very happy with it.Used some foam inside and lubed up some akko rose switches
