The terminals will lose connection if you wiggle the soeaker wire and air can be heard leaking out while the speaker is playing.They haven't fallen apart and they do work but I would consider them only for small hobby projects.

I built a sub box for my Golf and these worked well enough using a 2" hole saw to make a spot for them in the box. Not too fancy but good enough for my needs.

Very easy to apply these to my existing speakers one of using a thin screwdriver to pop out the old ones the new ones fit in nice and snug connection points were very easy to connect would recommend for anybody that needs a new set of these overthrowing out the speakers

Although the overall quality of these cups is good, I do find it odd that the pins of the back of the cups point in different directions as shown in the attached photo. I do not see why you would want opposite pointing pins, one cup inwards toward the center and the other cup outwards towards the edge. I would think that the desirable design would be the pins pointing inward. They are arguably somewhat pliable and may be able to be bent to any desired direction, but I would be concerned about it loosening the connection and therefore compromising the sound signal.The listing should include a photo of the back of both cups if in fact this is the intended design, so that potential customers are aware of that prior to purchasing.Probably deserves 4 stars but pin direction drops it to 3.
