These were purchased to remove clips on a military excavator. The small pliers would struggle and needed assistance with a screwdriver to remove the clips. These pliers were able to handle the job without any assistance. They are perfect for large Snap Rings.

These snap ring pliers worked perfectly for removing a large internal snap ring on my turbo's compressor housing. The ratcheting mechanism is awesome and allows you to lock the pliers in place (and keep the ring compressed in case you need to reinstall the same ring afterwards.) They didn't feel flimsy and seem to be made very well! I was surprised to find a "NEIKO TOOLS" card inside with the manual. These seem to be a child company of NEIKO perhaps?

Got these for doing my front hub on a f350. Handle bent to the point where it can’t be used while trying to get the snap ring off. Didn’t get the ring off. Cheaply made maybe good for lighter duty things.
