In addition to the material for managing heat dissipation, the 8-hole air ventilation design offers easy airflow, helping the plate cool down and providing great thermal endurance. It works well with different types of pads: foam pads, wool pads, microfiber pads, and sanding pads. The center of the plate is ready with a bolt to attach a polisher and constructed with 6 reinforced steel struts to maintain balance and apply pressure evenly to the pads.

This backing plate has been a great addition to my detailing setup. It threads cleanly onto my DA polisher and holds firm without wobble, even at higher speeds (no issues up to 12,000 OPM). The hook-and-loop system grabs foam pads securely and releases just as easily when it’s time to swap. No slipping during use.The 8-vent hole design does help reduce heat buildup, which is important when doing extended correction work. I’ve used it with multiple brands of 6" pads for polishing and light compounding, and it’s worked flawlessly every time.Feels durable and well-balanced—especially for the price. If you're looking for a backup or replacement plate for polishing, sanding, or finishing work, this one does the job just as well as higher-priced alternatives.

I have just bought the 6” buffing machine hook and loop backing pad and I am very happy with it. The pad sticks well to my buffer to allow for easy switching between the polishing pads. The hook and loop fastener system is a good grab, there is no need to worry about it coming off during the use. I have used it on different surfaces and it gives a glossy finish every time. It is also long lasting and very easy to clean, hence little or no need to worry about maintenance. I recommend it to everyone looking to enhance their buffing tools.

This is a great backing pad for my 6" polishing pads. It screws on perfectly and grips onto my pads great. There are even ventilation holes, so that the pad doesn't overheat! Very solid backing pad from a great company.
