Did the job just fine. Used on two different motorcycles with no problems, and cheaper than others.

5 years on and still taking care of my 6 volt old motor scooter battery. Though I probably paid bout 1/2 the current price then. Guess it's cheaper than fetching a new battery now and again.

I have a battery repair/charger unit that I bought from HF years ago. It takes mostly dead batteries and then brings them to life. I recently encountered a car battery that the hf unit couldn't fix. I popped this unit on there and after a full day of charging, the battery was able to take a charge. I had spent countless hours with the hf charger to no avail. Unfortunately, I let the battery sit and it died again so I bought a new battery.I also used this unit to revive a dead ryobi battery that wouldn't charge. I took the ryobi battery cover off and put this unit's positive and negative cables to the battery's respective poles and after 10 seconds, the ryobi battery was revived enough to take a charge again.I haven't had the unit long enough to review its longevity but it's price point and effectiveness makes this unit a no-brainer

Came intact and was really simple. Only used a few times but hasn't broken yet.

I rarely get to ride as much as I want. If I get out twice a week, I'm lucky. Now that winter is coming, I suspect that my bikes will end up doing a lot of sitting. It's just too cold to ride. The constant discharge/charge cycles that a seldom-used battery has to undergo are murder on it. Batteries are way too expensive to replace each riding season. In comparison, this tender cost me less than $20.My bike was already wired with an SAE connector to the battery by the previous owner. All I had to do was unbox this tender and plug it in. I put a dab of dielectric grease on the connector to keep it waterproof but it's not really needed. We'll see how it does over the winter, but so far my bike cranks with no problems, even when I don't ride it for several days.

I use this charger on a motorhome that sits all winter and it starts perfectly in spring. I leave it on all winter. Its exellent for any machine that remains unused for long periods of time.

Bought this because I already have one, needed to have another. I pul my camper, boat, and four wheeler batteries and store them in my garage, I use one of to keep them charged but I’ve a 49 inch pickup that has had the battery moved to a place that’s hard to get it out so I got this one and leave it in the truck all the time. when I’m not using it for a long time I just plug it and and don’t have to worry about a dead battery. works great, low amps so I don’t worry about frying the battery. It does take longer if the battery is completely dead but I have big charger for that. This is not a fast charger but it’s a great maintainer. Yes I would but again and recommend.

The smart charger was easy to hook up and with the plastic contact covers you can leave the leads attached for future charging. It's best used to keep a battery topped up. Unfortunately the smart part of the charger makes it useless for really low batteries. The batteries need to be more than just slightly charged for the charger to work. My battery would just barely turn over and start the car. The charger didn't recognize it as being properly hooked up and therefore wouldn't charge. This is common with "Smart" chargers. An old "dumb" charger brought my battery back without issue.

Using it for my collector car that is stored for the winter, nice long cord, very easy to use, just hook it up and plug it in.When I plugged it into the wall receptacle the light showed red showing the battery needed a charge, roughly 5 hours later switched to green. Very good value for the price.
