I didn’t try the subwoofer output, because I can’t imagine how this tiny 1 lb device would work for that, but it works fine for two small speakers.Sounds clear and actually produces a bit of bass.

I had a set of bookshelf speakers that I didn’t want to get rid of but wanted to use them for my computer. This amplifier was very inexpensive and so small in stature and works incredibly well. The only issue that I had was there was no power cord for it but Amazon allowed me to order one easily enough! Love the sound.

Most TVs have small underpowered speakers and poor quality audio. Using this little amp with some better speakers is a fantastic improvement for any TV. It isn't your main household stereo amplifier but it does a fine job of playing sharp, clear audio from a TV or a PC.

Firstly, I gave this a five star rating for the sound category because I only paid $13 for it. It is the best sounding $13 I have ever spent, so take that for what you will. Compared to a more expensive amp there will of course be shortcomings. But...Build quality here is good - cheap but serviceable. In terms of sound quality, I would compare this to the famous Lepai LP2020+, but the LP edges it out - the LP is just a much more Hi Fi sounding amp in comparison. Where this one shines is with it's dedicated sub out - connecting a sub to the LP series amplifiers was never ideal, and never really sounded all that good. I am running this one into a set of Jamo bookshelf speakers, with a project kit powered sub providing the lower end. So far so good, as this is mostly going to be used with the spare TV and occasionally to play music.This would be a great amp for a computer desk sound system.

I am using this amplifier for pair of bookshelf speakers and a passive subwoofer located around my desk, so I do not need them to be loud. In such setup, volume and sound clarity is adequate, if you need more power, provide more ventilation under the unit. It has quite a wide range of bass/treble adjustments, but also a basic design flaw: stereo volume and subwoofer volume are independent. It means:- when you want to turn it down, subwoofer is still thumping as nothing happened.- when stereo volume is low, the practical range of subwoofer regulation is very narrow.You can live with such flaw if you can control the master volume at the source. In such case set the stereo volume high, adjust subwoofer volume to achieve preferred tonal balance and never touch these knobs again.

For the price it's not bad but I had trouble getting the left channel to work and play any sound. There is no power supply included.
