This light is was an exact replacement for my BMW 1 Series. It fit perfectly with no modifications needed to either the light or the car's trunk.

This thing is garbage. Comes with no hardware, actually will not install with any hardware because the mounts are just pins into plastic hole that spin in place with no notches to secure. Managed to repair by plastic welding, even then wont sit flush have to gasket around for waterproofing.

This was a good price and replacement light. It does not come with the nuts and washers. The old nuts and washers were very difficult to remove but once they were off this was very easy to install. I purchased wing nuts to use when I installed it so that if it ever needs replacing again it will be easier to do.

This unit fits exactly. Has the slot on top to fit the tab on the trunk lid. No trimming required. Other replacements seen on YouTube videos lacked the slot, so the trunk lid needed to be filed down or material on the light housing removed. Not so with this unit. Has the notch on top and slides right in. Reuse the nuts and springs from the old unit, but don’t over-tighten the nuts and over-compress springs when reinstalling.

Easy to install, fit my 128i. Looks stock on the car, good quality best bang for buck. Functionally works as expected.
