Pros:- definitely works. worked on a car that hasn't been turned on in a few years.- easy plug and connect. i think it has protection against accidentally connecting the wrong way but point is it's pretty easy as it's clearly markedCons:- Doesn't come with case or any cable management, the brick itself is pretty heavy. cable is very long- Not as portable as the genius 1 due to above, for the lower price and less weight/cable length I am willing to stick with the genius 1 at the expense of waiting longer to recharge the battery.

Simply shocked, my battery was dead dead dead, my booster pack couldn't pick up a charge and would not charge my battery. I put the Genius10 on repair mode, then charged my battery for 3 hours and my tractor immediately fired up. This thing is VooDoo magic, in a world of disappointing cheap products that don't live up to their hype, this Genius 10 is worth every single cent. I rarely write reviews but when a company builds a product so amazing, I thought I should give that company my props. Great product, highly recommend.

It actually does detect down to a 1 Volt battery and tries to charge the battery. I use this for my older batteries after I added Deionized water to the cells to level them off. So for it actually rechargers the batteries.

I have charged a couple of batteries over the last year going in size from small gas power generator batteries to full size car batteries. This unit works best inside imo. The built-in power cord doesn't like the cold (-10celsius) and becomes very rigid. That being said, it’s easy to select which type of battery to be serviced. The desulfation/repair mode can make a difference with some non-AGM batteries, it is worth trying it to revive your old battery before purchasing a new one. The unit feels super solid and doesn’t become « hot » to the touch when in use which is a sure sign of quality electronic components. I have also a smaller unit from a different company that i like to use as a small trickle charger/maintainer under the hood. This NOCO 10 is way to big to fit under the hood of most cars as a permanent upgrade, its more like a shop size unit with more power. I wonder how any serious driver can drive a vehicle in Canadian winter without the ability to recharge/service their own car battery’s.

Over the last 4 years I’ve been able to recharge multiple 12v batteries (auto starter batteries, marine deep cycle and lithium batteries) with this single excellent unit, it’s now definitely paid for itself. This includes running my oldest deep cycle battery through the Repair Mode (gave it almost 2 days on the bench) and saw an improvement in the final state of charge. The Manual mode worked to allow me to recharge a completely discharged 0 volts car battery within 6 hours, thanks to its 10Amp capability. I recommend this charger, would buy again.

Very convenient and efficient

I decided it was time to upgrade my old noco g3500 and get the newer 10 for home use, did not want to pay regular price so waited on prime day for a bit of discount. Was thinking of the 5 but this one has the supply voltage function with 2X amperage for a bit more money. Everything works fine as expected. Very easy to use, visually looks good, clamps are much beefier than the g3500. Cables and cord are long enough. it is also a lot heavier than the g3500 giving it the heavy duty feel. Honestly the g3500 had that cheap look and feeling to it. Nothing to dislike with the new 10.

EDIT 2/26/24: I am now the blocks "AAA". Been helping people start their cars when jump starts with cables have not worked. Definitely handy to get other people out of an otherwise expensive pinch.I have a car battery that I purchased around 2016 (date of review 1/3/24). The car itself does not get driven much, at most 2-3 times a week no longer than 15 minutes one way.Throughout the years I've drained it by leaving the car lights on. Its always required a jump start after that to get going again. Recently I've been an idiot and been leaving my lights on more frequently. Eventually it required me to jump start everytime I wanted to turn on the car. It was becoming a hassle and I was about to call it quits and purchase a new battery until I came across Project Farm's review on battery chargers. This was at the top of the list so I figured to give it a shot.I was not disappointed! I charged it for 4 days straight, put it in my car, and it started right up. Not surprised considering it was just charged but the real test laid ahead. I was going to be out of town for two weeks and leave the car sitting. I came back two weeks later and the car started up, no hesitation whatsoever, as if it was a different battery!The NOCO Genius 10 saved me about $150-200 at least in a brand new battery. On top of that, I can now use it for other batteries in the event of any similar issues. The instructions on the other hand are a bit confusing and had to rely on YouTube comments to piece it together.For those who are confused at what to do, I did not do a 12V repair (function which this unit has) as it requires the battery to be completely charged first. All I did was charge it straight for 4 days uninterrupted.When first put on battery to the charger it will be in standby mode. You push (or hold depending on what you need) the MODE button to select your desired option. I was charging a lead acid battery so I selected 12V. The meter at the top slowly advanceD from each of the four bars until the final bar was pulsing green which indicates its charging to full (over 80% I believe). The green charging light continued to slowly pulse even on the 4th day but I took a gamble and disconnected it from the battery. For the battery to be 100% charged, the green light should stay solid. That means my battery worked 2 weeks later after sitting and it wasn't even at 100%.The unit can also force a charge on batteries that are extremely under voltage. Thats a separate setting that I haven't had to use yet. It can also charge AGM and Lithium but I believe the 12V repair function is only for lead acid.Unfortunately I had to go through 3 separate orders because the first two were from Amazon Warehouse and I encountered issues with both, consecutively. I like everything about it! It's so easy to use. As soon as I hooked it up to my battery, it automatically found type of battery I had & started charging immediately! Once your charge is finished, it goes into trickle mode, just giving your battery what it needs.The interface is easy to understand. The manual itself is a bit much. Only a few pages apply to the device. Everything else is just different languages. I'd suggest printing the language version you plan to use & using that. The device is well made and solid! It protects your battery from overcharging, unless you go into over ride mode, if your device cannot detect your battery. You are protected from accidental connecting to the wrong terminals, unless in override mode. If you connect to the wrong terminals, you get a warning light and the device will not work.

This is not a UK version, something that really should be made clear.Still, it was simple (if tedious) enough to fit a UK plug. No earth wire - not sure if that's an issue, but I'm not an electrician.Works just the same as the Genius 5 I already have, charges fairly fast and well, and with no fuss. It tops my fairly big battery up in a few hours.It works, and reliably. My car starts strongly every time, even after a long period of lying then given a top up charge. Enough said.Excellent charger, quicker than the Genius 5 (which still did the job, only slower) but annoying that I had to read the small print to realise I'd been mis-sold a US version.
