The Harrison has so many features that the included manual is adequate but viewing YouTube videos show so much more.Features are top notch.

We have ordered 5 of these for our fleet and so far 2 of them have bit the dust. Fortunately within 30 days so getting replacements was not a problem. What seems to be happening is that after a while they just die. The SWR is well within the 1.0 range and they worked fine while in use but they just do not seem to be reliable. Since this is happening on multiple vehicles we know it is not the vehicle itself and each vehicle has different antennas so we cannot blame the antenna. Other than that they are great radios with great features.

Think of this as the President Johnny III on steroids. Dimensionally, it appears President is using the same basic case as the Johnny III, so if that fits your vehicle best, here’s your upgrade. The President Harrison FCC AM/FM also seems to draw in signals better.I love the built-in SWR meter. President has made the radio so easy to tune and keep tuned. It beeps long if you’re far off (3.0), beeps faster as you adjust your antenna (2.0), and goes to a solid tone when you hit the mark (1 – 1.5). This is a big help if you’re tuning the radio alone.Scan Skip is terrific and was something missing from Johnny III and some of the other Presidents. I scan most of the time, and it’s so nice to lock out the Super Bowl channels – 6, 9, and 11.FM is a nice feature, although as of this review (November 2023), there still aren’t many folks who have upgraded to AM/FM, so the FM zone tends to be a bit unused. And speaking of unused, the CTCSS/DCS is an appealing option. However, while I use it on my GMRS radios, I’m not sure how many other CB radios offer this, making it of limited use. I guess the answer is to buy two President Harrisons and give one to the person you talk with the most.The bottom line is that this is a fantastic radio and well worth the investment if you’re looking for a CB radio with robust features built into a compact case.10-10,WRKI292
