These insoles really support your instep. Very firm. in the beginning it’s very uncomfortable then you get used to it.

I was skeptical. I've been suffering from foot pain for the better part of a year and had a feeling it was plantar fasciitis, though I've not bothered wasting a doctor's time to tell me what I'm fairly certain it is.I've used 3 other inserts and none have been effective in reducing the pain. I always felt like there just wasn't enough padding to support me standing all day at work. These ones are... odd. They aren't any more padded than any of the other inserts I've used. In fact, the hard arch support feels much, well, harder than anything I've used, even inserts that market themselves as having arch support. It took me about a week of discomfort before my feet got used to these things. And I mean serious discomfort. Once I adapted to using them, though, night and day difference. The pain from standing and walking, even after I get home and take my shoes off, has decreased significantly compared to before. That in and of itself makes them worth the money.Only minor complaint is that they don't completely fill my shoe. I wear a size 12 and there's a gap of a couple millimeters between the edge of the insert and the edge of the shoe. I do notice this sometimes when walking but it's not a deal breaker. Just something to bear in mind if you have large feet.

Previously, I paid $500 a year for specially made orthopedic supports. I work in a warehouse, with concrete floors, and once cut to proper length, these easily fit, into my work boots. I've bought a few of them, for other shoes, as well.

Shipment came quickly and the product seems to be of good quality. They were easy to install in my shoes with a little trimming to get the right length. The arch provides good support, it's comfortable and doesn't change the fit of the shoe on my foot. In the short time I've had them, I've noticed it's reduced the foot pain I have from my fallen arches and planter fasciitis. My feet feel better and I will probably buy more for other shoes, so I don't have to worry about switching from pair to pair.

Replaced a pair of worn out Superfeet with these, and I was very pleased with the results. For the first week or two, there was about a 10 minute "adjustment period" every time I put them on -- the arch area is higher than I am used to, so it took some time to get accustomed to it. After about a week, the additional support felt natural.Quality wise, the material used is great, and I was surprised by the amount of padding. Both the heel and mid toe area have an extra layer of cushioning compared to what I usually see with Superfeet, and the additional support and comfort is noticeable.Only downside is that since the arch support is so high and firm, I am not sure if I would use these insoles for extended running. For everyday walking, they're perfect. Overall, I definitely would say these are a fantastic insole addition.

I play a lot of indoor sports (Badminton, squash and volleyball) and I typically buy a new pair of indoor court shoes every year. I find that after a year, I experience heel pain (Plantar Fasciitis). I assumed the heel supports in the shoes collapsed from all the jumping. The rest of the shoe looks fine.It turns out that the insoles are worn, I purchased the Spenco Total Max and it gave new life to my favourite court shoes. The arch support is amazing, the entire insole is stiff. You can feel that it will last. The only tricky part was to get it to fit into my shoes. I found the best method was to remove the existing insole and place it on top of the Spenco and trim the toe area to match. They are a bit pricy. New shoes are between $100 - $150 for a decent pair. The Spenco insoles cost $45. Almost half the cost of new shoes. But they are worth every penny.I highly recommend them. I love them so much, I bought a second pair.
