It's pricey for the weak/brittle plastic attachment point. Which BTW if broken you have no other way to attach the the compass to anything. The Compass part is on point. Good quality, what you would expect from Sunto. As well the bearing indicator dial is stiff as you would want. I used it on a week trip to Spain. It worked well in unfamiliar city's and mountain hikes.

Compared to two high-quality compasses (Suunto MC-2 and Cammenga 3H), great true North once you get it level (which is a little harder on the wrist than on a table). Light and waterproof (I've had it about one meter deep with no issue whatsoever), good phosphorescence once "charged" with a light source. Rotating bezel so you can actually use it to walk an azimuth fairly reliable. For the price, definitely recommended as a backup compass.

Received my Suunto Clipper today and it had an air bubble in it, however with some warm water it quickly disappeared (it is -30 degrees Celsius today and it sat in my mailbox for a while). Another problem was that the clip for the compass is a little pointy and was poorly finished from the factory so it poked my wrist. This was fixed in minutes with a nail file to smooth down the edges and it wears good without much damage to the aesthetic.Compass is accurate, lume is decent (worse than Seiko lumibrite but not by much) and dial is easy to rotate and stays in place when not in use. Clips onto my G-Shock GW-6900, GWM-5610, DW-5600, G9000-MS1, and DW-9052 very nicely with not a lot of room to wiggle around. Also, my Casio AE-1200 "royale" and F-91W (both on their resin straps) can both mount it but there is a little more wiggle room than the G-Shocks. On the F-91W it goes all the way up to the case of the watch and it feels a little bulky and the compass is more visible, but it works.Overall very happy, the compass is better than the digital ones you'll find on G-Shock G-9400 or G-9300's (I own both). If it was finished better from the factory it would be 5 stars. Also a little pricey but with it in my opinion.
