I like the lead ropes them selves. Length is good, bright color, works well.I usually switch my snaps to the Bull snaps because I just like them better then the trigger snaps but these hooks that came on the ropes definitely needed the switch as the hooks are very flimsy.

Great lightweight lead. I use it with both my goats and horses. They have proven to be strong, and don't have the heavy, bulky clasp. I have bought five and would recommend.

Cant say how this would perform with a horse. I bought it for my German Shepherd, she is normally well behaved, but does do the occasional lunge at a skunk, coyote, etc, and being the powerful girl that she is, she can snap the clip on a regular dog leash like its made of tin foil....I needed a lead that didnt have such a wimpy clip, yet was easy on the hands...so far this lead is getting gold stars in both those departments...I also like the eight foot length very much. I can reel her in if I have to, but also give her the room to do her sniffing. I would definitely buy again....

Good feel in the handUsing with our sheepI was using our Shih Tzus flexi lead but the lambs are getting too big. So switched to these ropes as I needed something to help hold the full grown sheep on their grooming stand. These workBe aware that there is a significant odor.We do not keep them indoors as it is a chemical type of off gassing odor. Due to due? Maybe. Petroleum based?

These are ok for barn leadropes. I don't think they will last long if left outside. Unfortunately, my farrier has a habit of leaving halters and leadropes on the ground whereever he happens to finish trimming the horses!

I like the cotton because it won't tear your hand as nylon can. The rope is thinner than I expected, but now I like it, because it is easy to hold.
