I had wondered why the photos didn't show the actual earcup, but after I bought one I realize why...it is VERY uncomfortable with NO padding...while it's "over ear", it's hard plastic resting against the ear. Now I know why someone had returned it (I bought it on Amazon "Resale"). I remember Turtle Beach used to be a good brand name, but (and yes I know these were inexpensive), this would be something I'd expect to find for sale in a dollar store.

For some reason when I plug this headset in it glitches out my console. I get booted from parties after 30 seconds, audio barely works. Have tried with other controllers, same thing. As soon as I plug in a different headset I have no issues

Super cheap headset, but a million times better than the cheap-o Xbox basic headset which Microsoft charges more for. I just bought a new one to replace my last one (same model) that lasted many years before the mic finally gave out. It is just for chat, don't purchase this thinking that you will get gamesound through the earpiece. Super clear sound, and I am told that my microphone is very clear on the other end. If this headset had doubled in cost since thr last time I purchased one, I would still buy another, without hesitation.

Works as a mic, earpiece is very quite, and the foam used is hard, pokes into your head after a while.The more standard designs with the foam earpiece are much better.

Its good, nice volume, nice mic, but a BIT uncomfortable on the side with nothing, its great headset, but the side that just ends off is a bit uncomfortable, other wise its a great headset for gaming and other uses! works good on my Xbox 1 and on my laptop!

Bonjour, j'ai acheté ce casque à deux reprises, la première fois pour moi, la deuxième pour mon fils.Jouant en ligne avec mon fils assez régulièrement, ce casque fonctionne à merveille, nous n'avons aucun problème de son / de compatibilité, pour ma part je le branche à une manette razer wildcat et mon fils à une manette élite ou manette xbox one s (pour ces manettes aucun adaptateur n'est requis), pour les manettes xbox one, il vous faudra un adaptateur je crois.L'écouteur est grand, pas de problème pour y insérer l'oreille, en parlant des oreilles je porte des lunettes gunnar pour jouer et pas de gène avec les montures.Pour la qualité sonore de l'écouteur et du micro, à - de 20euro, vous n'aurez pas mieux, j'entends très bien mon fils et lui de même.

Als Ersatz für das Standard-Chat-Headset der Xbox One gekauft, dessen UVP 19.99 beträgt und somit knapp teurer ist. Qualitativ liegt das Turtle Beach Recon Chat jedoch klar vorne! Ein guter 40mm Treiber sorgt einfach für bessere Sprachverständlichkeit. Der Tragekomfort geht auch in Ordnung und das betroffene Ohr (man kann es wahlweise rechts oder links tragen) wird im Gegensatz zum Microsoft-Modell tatsächlich weniger abgedämpft, da es nicht direkt auf dem Gehörgang aufliegt, sondern auf der umliegenden Muschel. Diese weißt einige Seitenaussparungen und Belüftungslöcher in der selbigen auf, so das man das tonale Spielgeschehen weiterhin gut über die eigene (Surround-) Anlage verfolgen kann und dabei kein "heißes Ohr" bekommt. Die Mikrofonqualität ist ebenfalls, vor allem am Preis gemessen, erstaunlich gut (Xbox Live-Party getestet). Kann auch an der PS4 verwendet werden! (Xbox 360 nicht getestet). Übrigens: Mute (Schiebe-) Schalter und Lautstärke-Regler (Rädchen) befinden sich im Kabel (3,5mm Miniklinke).Fazit: Wer noch ein Standard-Headset für seine aktuelle(n) Konsole(n) sucht darf das Turtle Beach Recon Chat beruhigt dem Xbox One Standard-, oder dem der Konsole beigepackten PS4-Modell (eher schrottig) vorziehen.Natürlich ist für einen Verkaufspreis von 16,99 keine Premium-Qualität realisierbar, aber die für den Preis gebotene Qualität (zur Erinnerung: 16.99!) ist hier nicht nur als ordentlich zu bezeichnen. Eher ein echter Preis/Leistungsknaller! Als langjähriger XboxLive-User und Verwendung/Erprobung von Headsets verschiedenster Qualitäten (mein persönlicher Favorit bleibt Sennheisers Game One) gebe ich daher eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
