Very effective for sealing air gaps! It came in a squashed box and the silicone rubber weatherstripping looks small, but it REALLY WORKS!

Great product. Strong adhesive and the unique shape made a great seal for my drafty exterior door. I love that it comes in white, which matches my door frame.

This product does seem to install easily, and my hope is that it stays in place since door's natural forces against insulation should allowit to stay put better than screwed on side insulation trim which has to withstand sideway forces. Also, silicone rubber should outlastthe more common vinyl seal trim sold.The instructions on box, and the picture with it are very confusing in my opinion. In fact the picture made me believe theinstallation was the complete opposite of what stated in the instructions. I included a pix of my own showing door hinge sideand upper door header trim. The manufacture should provide a more clear picture on box. NOTE: Manufacturer recommendsinstalling thin side of gasket facing "away" from door stop (which is in picture I attached). I did find that the hinge side trimgasket works better for me if the thinner side of gasket is facing the door stop. So, if the manufactures recommendation causes doorto bind (do to thicker side of gasket contacting door as it closes), then flip gasket as it may allow door to close easier.
