In theory this is a cute way to have a stand alone for my hammie but I JUST filled it less than an hour (!) ago and it's constantly dripping/almost empty. I'm SO glad I tested it out first, without putting it in his cage, because it's totally true it would be empty before my hammie even wakes up and becomes active. Given that the ceramic also "hides" the bottle, it would be impossible to tell how much the bottle is leaking, so quickly, had I just put it in his enclosure. Again, glad I did a test run so my little guy didn't end up going over 24 hrs without water. Very disappointing that it's just not functional.

True to the image, and what I love is that it has two slots to adjust the height at which the nozzle sits so that if you have teenie tiny guy, like our baby roborofsky hamster, you can lower it to accommodate them.Such a cute detail and quite matches the natural look of the hutch we have for our little fur babe.

The tree looks nice and I like the extra hideout, but my hamster goes inside and chews on the green part of the bottle. It's not the sellers fault, but I wish there was a way to make it non chewable. We'll see how long the bottle lasts.

This product was delivered in excellent time, was packaged accordingly, and arrived in perfect condition. The package consists of a plastic bottle with a water dispenser and a ceramic log water bottle holder that can double as a log for small rodents to play and hide in.I selected this for our ferret to be used on trips where he ends up spending a bit of time in his mesh play pen. It stands up very well with the bottle in it and it works perfectly for our intended use case. I like that the water dispenser can be installed at two different levels. The bottle is also the perfect size to ensure our ferret always has water available, but it is not so large that it is difficult to travel with. He does try to get into the log opening often but it is too large to get anything more than his head inside. (Mice and smaller rodents will certainly love that feature.) It is all of excellent quality and the craftsmanship is good. I am quite pleased with this selection.

This is as described and looks just like the picture BUT it has a design flaw in my opinion… our hamster goes into the trunk of the tree and pushes the bottle up and out of the trunk. There is nothing to hold the bottle in place or prevent this. Then when the bottle lays on its side all night in the inclosure it leaks everywhere. So we will have to purchase a different one as this is just not working with our Syrian…

Sturdy and doesn’t tip. Bottle doesn’t leak. The hide out is too small for Syrian hamster, though it might be fine for a dwarf hamster.

This setup is perfect for small animals that are housed in tanks instead of wire cages. It also gives them another place to hide/explore.
