So tiny that you would need a magnifying glass to be able to see and above all it didn't even work.

Unfortunately the poor thing can't take being jostled around for very long before it starts to hang up on itself.

I have only used the compass once so far for a half day navigation exercise but it was in sub zero temperatures on snow shoes through the woods. It works pretty well for what it is and for the price. I would never try to use it as a primary navigation tool but as a backup device and for quickly checking confirming the general direction it actually works pretty well. I wouldn't pay much for this wrist compass. It has a filmsy and horribly cheap wrist band and it is not designed for longevity or hard use but for what it is and under $10 it serves a purpose. 4 stars.

Points my son in the direction he wants to go. He is very happy with it.

I wanted something small to keep in my handbag and this serves the purpose perfectly. It works when I need it and that's all I want it to do :)

A lot more expensive than buying one from China on eBay (but I read they are more often than not demagnetized by the time they arrive), but had this a few months now and it's good. On my wrist every day (I removed the Velcro and attached it to my G-Shock) and it's still points to North (I check it off my phone and a large compass). It may be ever so slightly out, but it will still take you in the right direction. I figure this is more down to the size than a magnetization issue.

I always carry two compasses when in the woods, one in pocket, one on wrist. Especially prefer wrist compass when I'm in the wilderness in either my kayak or canoe since it more convenient to take a quick 'fix'. This is a handy compass - very lightweight and comfortable. Supposedly luminous dial only glows in the dark if I shine my mag-light on it first, but for me this is hardly an issue since I don't paddle in the middle of the night. Will probably buy another to keep as an emergency spare in my tackle box. Worth the money.
