What happened to having the ability to write honest reviews? Here I go again: the item is poorly constructed and of cheap quality for the price. With that in mind be careful to not place on a shelf where it could easily slip and fall because it will end up breaking. Also bear in mind due to the fragility of the item there is a higher chance it will arrive already broken as someone already mentioned. This also happened to me.

What can I say, they’re cute and they work as book ends. They seem to have pretty great quality and are heavy enough. I would recommend them.

This piece is very delicate. The book ends are relatively light so don't expect them to be heavy like cast iron. Having said that, they are super adorable! If you or anyone who you consider getting it for is a cat lover, this will be a huge joy!The pieces support book nicely. Pieces are delicate so be careful not to break!Lovely lovely piece. I got it for a child who had it set far and away so it is not handled daily and it makesme smile every time I look at it. Kids love it but kids must be at the age they know how to handle it accordingly.

This item came and though it wasn’t advertised on the website, there are really weird quotes inscribed onto the pages. And they’re both quite dark and negative? Super weird and disappointing.
