My buttery almost done. In winter Canada it’s impossible to start my engine. With this charger installed with my battery, I can charge it with block heaters. Help me go through every winter. Safety first, but little bit slow

I bought 2 earlier of the identical product to keep car batteries trickle charged during Winter. I decided to order 2 more for a tractor battery as well as keeping an ATV battery charged for my Winter plow. So, absolutely pleased with this product.

I bought this unit to recover my 6 SLA 12V-20AMP batteries, it was excellent. At one point, it wouldn't power on. I contacted the seller, Kendy was quick to respond and offered me some options. The charger worked perfectly for what I needed it for. I tried to fix it ( maybe a loose wire/ fuse ) but it's sealed with no screws to remove. Probably a defect in mine but I would consider buying another one if needed.

I had let my battery deplete from both a dashcam that was activating from the wind and from going a couple weeks without using my car in winter. Each time i boosted it and drove it for awhile ,it would last only a day or two before getting low again. I used the repair feature and let it go for almost 24 hours and then removed it. the device also shows the voltage and it was reporting full battery 12.4vEver since then my battery has been working fine and car starts as normal. If i know i wont use the car for a couple weeks i plug the device into the outdoor wall outlet to keep it trickle charged for 12 hours. For the price, u cant beat it.

SummaryIt is important to keep your RV batteries charge during the winter months. This battery charges makes this process simple and safe.UsageWe recently bought our first RV this fall. The RV uses two 6v batteries chained together to deliver 12v of power to some of the RV systems when there is no direct connection to electricity. You cannot leave your RV batteries exposed to the winter elements as this can make the batteries swell and reduce the capacity of the batteries. Therefore it is necessary to disconnect these batteries form the RV and store them in a garage or well ventilated indoor area during the winter months. In addition it is healthy for the batteries to charge them every 4-6 weeks to maximize their capacity. This product makes the charging part of this winter routine simple. The product enables you to, trickle charge and pulse charge your 6V RV batteries. If your batteries are not fully charged this product will get them up to 100% charge. Note this will take time as this product is a trickle charger and not something one would use to quickly charge a dead car battery. This process is made simple by this product as it will show the current charge percentage. This process is made safe by this product based on the fact that it will show an error if the battery clips are reversed. This product also has a pulse charge setting that is said to repair a battery but I do not have the means to test if this feature does increase the capacity of an older battery.Helpful HintsThis hint is not related to this product but if you are recharging flooded batteries it is recommended to follow a similar watering process as described below:1. Fully charge flooded batteries prior to adding water.2. Only add water to discharged or partially charged batteries before charging if the plates are exposed. In this case, add just enough water to cover the plates and then charge the batteries. Once fully charged continue with the watering procedure.3. If electrolyte level is above the plates it is not necessary to add water.4. If electrolyte is needed, add distilled or deionized water to a level 1/8”(3mm) below the vent well (plastic shield inside the vent hole).5. After adding water, secure vent caps back on batteriesManufacturer Recommendations1. Improved documentation. The instructions are poorly translated into English and as such make the product harder to understand that is necessary.ConclusionAs a new RV owner I had no prior experience in caring for 6v RV batteries during winter months. A bit of Googling and the purchase of this product have made this caring simple and safe.

...I found this charger is good value for money. Importantly, if you connect the charger the wrong way around it tells you rather than damaging anything. I have used it on my truck, my tractor and my riding mower and it performed well and, according to the readout, left the batteries fully charged. Two of those batteries are well over four years old so a good test. You can leave the charger on more or less permanently according to the instructions, and there is a small fan included to keep it cool. I have not tried the charging option to try to recover a battery that was discharged. There are various YouTube videos from people who are pleased with this. Time will tell if it lasts, but for the cost, I am entirely satisfied.

This charger is easy to use and was effective. My regular Motorcycle charger was accidentally disconnected from my bike during the winter. I tried trickle charging with the same charger but was not successful. I decided to order a new charger instead of towing the bike to the mechanic. When I initially connected it, the LCD displayed FUL but the battery was not charged. I followed the directions and switched to Repair Mode and went to bed. Eight hours later, I switched it back to normal mode and went about my day at work ......returned home after work.....charging completed and I was able to start my motorcycle. I highly recommend this charger....It’s very easy to use.
