Product Description

Elderberry Flower

Hundredfold: Good Fruits Multiply./Les bons fruits se multiplient.

We strive to cultivate a cleaner and better environment as we work together towards a brighter future.

A perfect blend of beauty, culture and taste

red runner bean

A climbing beauty

The climbing vines are often grown for their brilliant scarlet blossoms that attract hummingbirds, bees and butterflies.

They grow to 10–12' and will need trellises, fences or poles for support.

Graces Bird

Blended in America culture

It is an heirloom variety grown as early as 1750 by settlers in the United States.

Runner Bean can also be referred as the Three Sisters with corn and squash because the three crops do wonderfully match with each other.

dried beans

A tasty bean

A versatile vegetable, it could be consumed as:

  1. Dried beans
  2. Fresh beans
  3. Snap beans

The young pods are nutty and sweet. They are so tasty, and will certainly impress all your guests.

garden bean

Problems

1. It is a climber and it needs trellis.

2. Although beans are nitrogen fixer, they need other nutrients (phosphorus & potassium) than nitrogen to perform. Lack of feeding will result in only flowers but no beans.

Hundredfold Everywhere: Wild flowers in a city

Rose mallow

Over the past few years, we have converted what used to be a dry and barren piece of lawn into a flourishing garden filled with native plants. Now milkweeds, elderberries, and swamp roses have all found their home here. This small garden has a resonating impact on wildlife. In this 100 square feet garden, we have welcomed monarch butterflies, goldfinches (songbirds), sandpipers (water-birds), and countless native bees.

Being able to see biodiversity being restored in a few years was deeply inspiring and we hope many others may also be able to experience this.

The beans didn't all come up so that was disappointing but I am told only one out of three is the usual. A few did come up but they are very tiny and odd looking. They are only about an inch or two high. I hope they continue to grow larger before fall. I will not be ordering any more of these.
