I have been using the cheaper non-HP ink and recently my Yellow Print Head quit working. I was afraid I was going to lose this printer I love and have to buy a new one! I put the HP ink in and it cleared the error and started working again! I hope I can use up all of my other non-HP ink without having to replace the ones in the printer with HP! (Then I'll buy HP!)

I recently ordered this item and have now received it. When I was doing comparison shopping I was comparing this Ink set to the one available at Staples. The issue here is that the item offered at Staples includes the larger HP 950 XL ink. This item includes only the HP 950 standard ink. This is a difference of about $42 and 1300 pages.To be clear, this item for sale does not make any misrepresentation, except for the ink came in 4 seperate individual boxes instead of all-in-one box as seen in the photo, it's just not the same ink buddle available at Staples.When comparing purchasing this item versus buying each individual ink pack at Staples this item is currently about $5 more expensive. Not a huge difference. Just be aware this item includes HP 950 Black (1000 pages), HP 951 Yellow (700 pages), HP 951 Cyan (700 pages) and HP 951 Magenta (700 pages).

These things are expensive and I hate it. It's just a monopoly thing. But if you're looking for getting the right ink I advise you ask your printer before buying, as this is my first time buying specific ink and I got it wrong twice..open your printer where you'd usually replace the ink cartridges. There should be a sticker somewhere in the front specifying what ink you need (the number really matters, as that's what you're gonna need to get the right ink lol). Or if you can check on the printer screen the amount, sometimes it'll tell you the ink on there too. I was worried getting this off of Amazon cuz of the reviews but as long as you triple make sure you got the right one(s) it's quick and efficient. Just don't think it's worth the money but again, monopoly stuff.
