Troubleshooting
Q: Video Loss appears where the image from my camera should be displaying on my DVR?
A: 1.Check the extension cable (power and video) is securely connected to the camera.
2.Check the video output from the camera is securely connected to a video input channel on the DVR.
3.Check the power from the camera is securely connected to a power supply.
4. The camera mode do not match your DVR.there is 2 ways to setup . (1) Press OSD Joystick “DOWN” 5 seconds,if still no picture come, try to press “LEFT” “RIGHT””UP” for 5 second, till the signal matching your DVR. (2) Make sure the signal of your DVR, Use OSD Joystick to change the mode of the camera according to your DVRs video Mode.

I bought this camera to add more surveilance to my property. It works as expected.Just a note to everyone, that there is no power supply transformer or video cable that connects to the DVR. You will have to purchase these items seperately to make the camera operational.

The mounting and housing is made out of plastic. The camera position does not lock down very well and it can be moved with one finger fairly easily. It is not very lose (it is not like it is going to be flapping in the wind), but my old camera that this one replaced had full metal housing, and the base screwed down to lock camera position to make it very difficult to move the camera direction without unscrewing the base first.Camera switching modes works fine, and I was easily able to switch between different modes. I only need the AHD-1080p mode which works fine. I was worried about the dangling button that can be pushed by accident when closing the wires in the box. You will need to mount the camera on a box if you want to have somewhere to store the wires, unless you make a giant hole on the wall to push the wires into the wall, which is not a good idea for outdoors. I just use outdoor waterproof PVC electrical boxes.Night vision is a bit over-exposed, I think the LEDs are too bright, so I get a circle of bight light in the middle, but maybe my space is a bit small at my front door, the wall is about 6 to 8 feet away from the camera lens. It is fine since this is not the only camera I have pointed in this direction. The other camera sees a very bright infra-red floodlight where this camera is pointed. I think it might be fine if this was installed pointing to the driveway or backyard where the subject would be farther away.It is not the best, but for the price it is not bad. If other cameras fail on me, I'll buy this one again, unless I find better one with metal housing.
