Item looks great, however the compass top threads do not line up therefor I cannot close the compass. The lid falls off every time. Will have to return it now unfortunately.

Extremely happy with this purchase. The compass has the look and feel of an antique and it's perfect for the pirate chest I'm burying for my grandson's to find.
